हिमाचल प्रदेश में लगातार हो रही भारी बारिश भूस्खलन और खराब मौसम को देखते हुए इस साल की किन्नर कैलाश यात्रा को रद्द कर दिया है। जिला आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण के अध्यक्ष और डीसी किन्नौर डॉक्टर अमित कुमार शर्मा ने आदेश जारी कर दिए हैं। यह फैसला श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए आपदा प्रबंधन अधिनियम 2005 की धारा 14 के तहत लिया गया है। प्रशासन ने सभी श्रद्धालुओं और संबंधित पक्षों से अनुरोध किया है कि वह इस आदेश का पालन करें और यात्रा के लिए किन्नौर ना आए। इस सीजन में प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार अभी तक 7253 श्रद्धालुओं ने कैलाश पर्वत का दर्शन किए हैं। यात्रा में 2373 ऑनलाइन रजिस्ट्रेशन 4195 ऑफलाइन रजिस्ट्रेशन वह 685 किन्नौर टूरिज्म संगठन से श्रद्धालुओं का रजिस्ट्रेशन किया है और पांच श्रद्धालुओं की मौत भी हुई है।

In view of the continuous heavy rains, landslides and bad weather in Himachal Pradesh, this year’s Kinnar Kailash Yatra has been cancelled. District Disaster Management Authority Chairman and DC Kinnaur Dr Amit Kumar Sharma has issued orders. This decision has been taken under Section 14 of the Disaster Management Act 2005 keeping in mind the safety of the devotees. The administration has requested all the devotees and concerned parties to follow this order and not come to Kinnaur for the Yatra. According to the information received in this season, so far 7253 devotees have visited Mount Kailash. In the Yatra, 2373 online registrations, 4195 offline registrations and 685 devotees have registered with the Kinnaur Tourism Organization and five devotees have also died.
