गाय को बचाने की कोशिश में बलिदान: नदी की धार में बह गए NDRF जवान सुरेंद्र नौटियाल

चमोली : उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले में एक भावुक कर देने वाली घटना सामने आई है, जहां एक NDRF जवान ने एक फंसी हुई गाय को बचाने के प्रयास में अपनी जान गंवा दी। थराली तहसील के देवाल ब्लॉक स्थित कोठी नंदकेसरी क्षेत्र में मंगलवार को यह हादसा उस वक्त हुआ जब जवान सुरेंद्र नौटियाल तेज बहाव वाली पिंडर नदी में फंसी गाय तक पहुंचने की कोशिश कर रहे थे।

स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन को जानकारी दी थी कि नदी के बीचों-बीच बने टापू पर कई दिनों से एक गाय फंसी हुई है और पानी का स्तर लगातार बढ़ रहा है। प्रशासन ने तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए NDRF और स्थानीय JDRF की टीम को मौके पर भेजा।

मंगलवार सुबह करीब 11 बजे रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन शुरू हुआ। जवान सुरेंद्र नौटियाल ने सुरक्षा उपकरणों के साथ टापू की ओर बढ़ना शुरू किया, लेकिन अचानक उनकी लाइफ जैकेट तेज धार के चलते खुल गई। देखते ही देखते वे नदी की तेज लहरों में बह गए।

उनके साथ मौजूद टीम ने तुरंत उन्हें निकालने का प्रयास किया और काफी मशक्कत के बाद उन्हें बाहर निकाला गया। सुरेंद्र को तुरंत सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र थराली ले जाया गया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया।

30 वर्षीय सुरेंद्र नौटियाल उत्तरकाशी जिले के निवासी थे। उनके इस असमय निधन से न केवल उनके परिवार, बल्कि पूरा क्षेत्र शोक में डूब गया है।

इस घटना ने एक बार फिर रेस्क्यू टीमों की बहादुरी और जोखिमपूर्ण कार्य परिस्थितियों को सामने रखा है, जहां वे न सिर्फ इंसानों, बल्कि बेजुबानों की जान बचाने के लिए भी अपनी जान जोखिम में डालते हैं।
