नाहन के कच्चा टैंक क्षेत्र में एक 29 वर्षीय युवक ने घर पर फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। बताया जा रहा है कि वह लंबे समय से डिप्रेशन की समस्या से जूझ रहा था, और इसी कारण उसने यह खौफनाक कदम उठाया। पुलिस के अनुसार, रविवार रात करीब 9:45 बजे सूचना मिली कि शुभम कुमार नामक युवक ने अपने घर में आत्महत्या कर ली है। परिजन उसे तुरंत नाहन अस्पताल ले गए, जहां चिकित्सकों ने मृत घोषित कर दिया। जांच में सामने आया है कि मृतक शुभम कुमार पुत्र दमन चंद लंबे समय से डिप्रेशन का शिकार था। उसका इलाज चंडीगढ़ के पीजीआई में चल रहा था। पुलिस निरीक्षण में गले और ठोड़ी पर फंदे के निशान पाए गए हैं। परिवार ने बताया कि उन्हें शुभम की मौत पर कोई संदेह नहीं है। पुलिस ने शव का पोस्टमार्टम करवाकर परिजनों को सौंप दिया है। पुलिस ने धारा 194 बीएनएसएस के तहत जांच शुरू कर दी है।

A 29-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself at home in the Kachha Tank area of Nahan. It is being told that he was suffering from depression for a long time, and that is why he took this dreadful step. According to the police, on Sunday night around 9:45 pm, information was received that a youth named Shubham Kumar has committed suicide in his house. The family immediately took him to Nahan Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. Investigation has revealed that the deceased Shubham Kumar son of Daman Chand was suffering from depression for a long time. He was undergoing treatment at PGI, Chandigarh. During police inspection, marks of noose have been found on the neck and chin. The family said that they have no doubt about Shubham’s death. The police has got the post-mortem of the body done and handed it over to the family. The police has started investigation under section 194 BNSS.
