ग्राम पंचायत बहराल ने स्थानीय विद्यालय बहराल में सामुदायिक पुस्तकालय का शुभारंभ किया गया। इस पुस्तकालय में विद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों की अतिरिक्त उच्च कक्षाओं में पढ़ने वाले एवं प्रतियोगी परीक्षा में शामिल होने वाले विद्यार्थी भी 3:00 बजे के पश्चात अध्ययन कर पाएंगे। शुभारंभ अवसर पर आयोजित एक सादे कार्यक्रम में पंचायत के ग्राम विकास अधिकारी विनोद ठाकुर ने बताया की 15वें वित्त आयोग के अंतर्गत विद्यालय के अनुमोदन पर ग्राम सभा में सामुदायिक पुस्तकालय का प्रस्ताव रखा था और इस प्रस्ताव को सरकार की स्वीकृति हेतु भेजा गया था। इसी निमित्त सवा लाख की राशि से पुस्तकालय कक्ष का टाइलकरण, रंग रोगन, नये विद्युत उपकरण से उचित व्यवस्था की गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि अभी इस विद्यालय को प्रतियोगी परीक्षा हेतु लगभग ₹6000 की पुस्तक भी पुस्तकालय को भेंट कर रहे हैं।

इस अवसर पर उपस्थित ग्राम पंचायत बरहाल के उप प्रधान सरदार गुमनाम सिंह ने कहा कि अब बहराल और सतीवाला गांव के युवा इस पुस्तकालय में बैठकर अपने लक्ष्य को प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। इस अवसर पर ग्राम पंचायत प्रधान अंजना देवी ने विद्यालय को अन्य नवीनतम पुस्तकों के सहयोग हेतु भी आश्वासन दिया। मुख्य अध्यापक जीवन प्रकाश जोशी ने अपने सम्बोधन में कहा कि विद्यालय गांव की संपत्ति है, इसीलिए इसके विकास हेतु ग्राम पंचायत बहराल ने इस विद्यालय के समुचित विकास हेतु पिछले 3 वर्षों में लगभग 10 लाख रुपए की राशि से पक्का मैदान, अति आधुनिक शौचालय, वर्षा जल संग्रहण, पीने के पानी की व्यवस्था तथा सामुदायिक पुस्तकालय के निर्माण में व्यय करने के लिए ग्राम पंचायत प्रधान, उप प्रधान, वार्ड मेंबर एवं विकास अधिकारी का धन्यवाद किया ।इस अवसर पर विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति के प्रधान केहर सिंह, गुरनाम सिंह, विनोद ठाकुर, महेंद्र सिंह, अर्जुन सिंह, नरेंद्र कौर, मनवीर कौर, मीनाक्षी राजपूत, सुरेंद्र कौर, सुदेश कुमार वीरेंद्र शर्मा, शशि कुमारी, मंजूरा बेगम, धनप्रीत कौर आदि उपस्थित रहे।

Gram Panchayat Bahral inaugurated the community library in the local school Bahral. In this library, apart from the students of the school, students studying in higher classes and those appearing in competitive exams will also be able to study after 3:00 pm. In a simple program organized on the occasion of inauguration, the Gram Vikas Adhikari of the Panchayat, Vinod Thakur, told that under the 15th Finance Commission, a proposal for a community library was placed in the Gram Sabha on the approval of the school and this proposal was sent to the government for approval. For this purpose, proper arrangements have been made for tiling the library room, painting, new electrical equipment with an amount of Rs. 1.25 lakh. He said that right now books worth about ₹ 6000 are also being donated to the library for competitive exams of this school.

Sardar Gumnaam Singh, Deputy Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Barhal, who was present on this occasion, said that now the youth of Bahral and Satiwala villages can achieve their goals by sitting in this library. On this occasion, Gram Panchayat Pradhan Anjana Devi also assured the school of the support of other latest books. Head teacher Jeevan Prakash Joshi said in his address that the school is the property of the village, that is why for its development, Gram Panchayat Bahral thanked the Gram Panchayat Pradhan, Deputy Pradhan, Ward Member and Development Officer for spending about 10 lakh rupees in the last 3 years for the proper development of this school in the construction of paved ground, ultra-modern toilets, rain water harvesting, drinking water arrangements and community library. On this occasion, the head of the school management committee Kehar Singh, Gurnam Singh, Vinod Thakur, Mahendra Singh, Arjun Singh, Narendra Kaur, Manveer Kaur, Meenakshi Rajput, Surendra Kaur, Sudesh Kumar Virendra Sharma, Shashi Kumari, Manjuara Begum, Dhanpreet Kaur etc. were present.
