शिक्षा मंत्री रोहित ठाकुर ने दो दिवसीय ज़िला स्तरीय रिहाली मेला (ठियोग उत्सव) में शिरकत की। उन्होंने कहा कि मेले और त्योहार हमारे प्रदेश की समृद्ध संस्कृति का अभिन्न अंग हैं। उन्होंने युवाओं से प्रदेश की समृद्ध संस्कृति को संजोए रखने का आवाहन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि ठियोग सफ़ाई के क्षेत्र में पूरे प्रदेश में पहले नंबर पर रहा है जोकि ज़िला शिमला के लिए गौरव का विषय है। उन्होंने कहा कि ठियोग क्रांतिकारियों का क्षेत्र भी रहा है और इस क्षेत्र ने अपनी परंपरा, सभ्यता और संस्कृति को जीवित रखा है उसके लिए भी यहाँ के लोग बधाई के पात्र है। उन्होंने सभी अधिकारियों और नगर परिषद की पूरी टीम को कार्यक्रम के लिए बधाई दी।

मिस ठियोग प्रतियोगिता रही मुख्य आकर्षण, अनन्या ने जीता खिताबठियोग उत्सव में पहली बार मिस ठियोग प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की है जोकि ठियोग उत्सव का मुख्य आकर्षण रही जिसमें 10 युवतियों ने हिस्सा लिया। इस प्रतियोगिता के लिए 18 युवतियों ने पंजीकरण करवाया था जिसमें से 10 युवतियों का चयन किया गया था। प्रतियोगिता में निर्णायकों द्वारा अनन्या को मिस ठियोग चुना गया और फर्स्ट रनर अप भुवनेश्वरी और सेकंड रनर अप साऊ वर्मा को चुना गया। निर्णायक के रूप में मिस यूनिवर्स हिमाचल 2024 अनुष्का दत्ता और सिमरन ने अहम भूमिका निभाई। इस दौरान विधायक ठियोग कुलदीप सिंह राठौर, उपाध्यक्ष हिमाचल प्रदेश वन विकास निगम केहर सिंह खाची, अध्यक्ष नगर परिषद ठियोग अनिल ग्रोवर, उपाध्यक्ष नीतू मेहता, उपमंडल दण्डाधिकारी ठियोग डॉ (मेजर) शशांक गुप्ता, डीएसपी सिद्धार्थ शर्मा, ज़िला भाषा अधिकारी अनिल हारटा सहित अन्य गणमान्य अतिथि भी उपस्थित रहे।

Education Minister Rohit Thakur participated in the two-day district level Rihali Mela (Theog Utsav). He said that fairs and festivals are an integral part of the rich culture of our state. He appealed to the youth to preserve the rich culture of the state. He said that Theog has been number one in the entire state in the field of cleanliness, which is a matter of pride for Shimla district. He said that Theog has also been the area of revolutionaries and the people of this area deserve congratulations for keeping its tradition, civilization and culture alive. He congratulated all the officers and the entire team of the Municipal Council for the program.

Miss Theog competition was the main attraction, Ananya won the title. For the first time, Miss Theog competition was organized in Theog Utsav, which was the main attraction of Theog Utsav in which 10 girls participated. 18 girls had registered for this competition, out of which 10 girls were selected. In the competition, Ananya was selected as Miss Theog by the judges and first runner up Bhuvaneshwari and second runner up Sau Verma were selected. Miss Universe Himachal 2024 Anushka Dutta and Simran played an important role as judges. During this, MLA Theog Kuldeep Singh Rathore, Vice President Himachal Pradesh Forest Development Corporation Kehar Singh Khachi, Chairman Municipal Council Theog Anil Grover, Vice President Neetu Mehta, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Theog Dr. (Major) Shashank Gupta, DSP Siddharth Sharma, District Language Officer Anil Harta and other dignitaries were also present.
