पीएम श्री GBSSS पांवटा साहिब में स्वतंत्रता दिवस के उपलक्ष में एक भव्य कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रुप में सूबेदार जागर सिंह एवं पूर्व सैनिक मोहर सिंह पधारे। मुख्य अतिथि ने ध्वजारोहण कर राष्ट्रीय ध्वज को सलामी दी तथा स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के बलिदान को नमन किया। ध्वजारोहण के उपरांत सभी छात्रों में मिष्ठान वितरित किया। अनुराग, शिवांश, कार्तिक कपूर, अखिल इन विद्यार्थियों ने देश भक्ति से ओत –पोत अपने विचार व्यक्त किए। विद्यालय की अध्यापिका श्रीमती जसकीरत कौर ने स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर बच्चों को संबोधित किया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में प्रधानाचार्य डॉ. प्रेमपाल सिंह ठाकुर ने स्वतंत्रता दिवस के महत्व पर प्रेरणादायक संबोधन दिया तथा सभी को देश हित में कार्य करने का संदेश दिया। इस कार्यक्रम में मंच संचालन श्रीमती निर्मला द्वारा किया गया। इस अवसर पर विद्यालय के सभी अध्यापक, अध्यापिकाएं व विद्यार्थी मौजूद रहे।

A grand program was organized on the occasion of Independence Day at PM Shri GBSSS Paonta Sahib. Subedar Jagar Singh and ex-soldier Mohar Singh attended the program as chief guests. The chief guest hoisted the flag and saluted the national flag and paid tribute to the sacrifices of the freedom fighters. After the flag hoisting, sweets were distributed among all the students. Anurag, Shivansh, Kartik Kapoor, Akhil, these students expressed their views filled with patriotism. School teacher Mrs. Jaskirat Kaur addressed the children on the occasion of Independence Day. At the end of the program, Principal Dr. Prempal Singh Thakur gave an inspirational address on the importance of Independence Day and gave a message to everyone to work in the interest of the country. The stage was conducted by Mrs. Nirmala in this program. All the teachers, teachers and students of the school were present on this occasion.
