राजधानी शिमला के ऐतिहासिक रिज मैदान में जिला स्तरीय स्वतंत्रता दिवस का कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। आजादी की 79 वर्षगांठ के उपलक्ष पर हिमाचल प्रदेश के विभिन्न विभागों को सरकार की तरफ से चलाई जाने वाली योजना की झांकी निकाली गई। झांकी में योजनाओं में सरकार के प्रयासों को दिखाया गया है। विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। सेना के जवान, पुलिस विभाग, एनसीसी , और होमगार्ड के जवान परेड की सलामी देते हुए मार्च पास्ट करते हुए नजर आए।

इस अवसर पर राजधानी शिमला के सरकारी और प्राइवेट स्कूल के बच्चे भी शामिल हुए। कॉलेज और विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र-छात्राओं ने रंगारंग प्रस्तुतियां देकर हाथों में तिरंगा लिए हुए आजादी का जशन मनाया। प्रदेश के उपमुख्यमंत्री मुकेश अग्निहोत्री जिला स्तरीय समारोह में उपस्थित हुए। शिमला में आयोजित समारोह हमारा देश प्रेम एकता का प्रतीक बना। रिज मैदान परेड की सलामी दी गई और तिरंगा फहराया गया। सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम में हिमाचल की संस्कृति को दर्शाया गया।

A district level Independence Day program was organized at the historic Ridge Ground in the capital Shimla. On the occasion of 79th anniversary of Independence, a tableau of schemes run by the government of various departments of Himachal Pradesh was taken out. The efforts of the government in the schemes have been shown in the tableau. Various cultural programs were organized. Soldiers of the army, police department, NCC, and home guards were seen marching past while saluting the parade.

Children from government and private schools of the capital Shimla also participated on this occasion. College and university students celebrated Independence Day by giving colourful presentations holding the tricolour in their hands. Deputy Chief Minister of the state Mukesh Agnihotri was present at the district level function. The function organized in Shimla became a symbol of our patriotism and unity. The parade at the Ridge Ground was saluted and the tricolour was hoisted. Himachal’s culture was depicted in the cultural programme.
