मां से नशे के लिए मांगे पैसे, इंकार पर कर दी हत्या — बेटा गिरफ्तार, हादसे का रंग देने को लगाई थी आग

हरबर्टपुर क्षेत्र में 2 अगस्त को एक बुज़ुर्ग महिला की संदिग्ध हालात में हुई मौत के मामले का पुलिस ने खुलासा कर दिया है। जांच में सामने आया है कि महिला की हत्या उसके अपने बेटे ने ही की थी, जो नशे का आदी है और पहले भी कई आपराधिक मामलों में जेल जा चुका है।

हत्या के बाद लगाई आग, लूटकर हुआ फरार
आरोपी मनमोहन सिंह (31 वर्ष) ने जब नशे के लिए मां से पैसे मांगे और उन्होंने इंकार किया, तो उसने गुस्से में आकर पाटल (लोहे की छड़) से वार कर उनकी हत्या कर दी। वारदात को छिपाने के लिए शव को गद्दे में लपेटकर घर में आग लगा दी गई, ताकि यह एक हादसा लगे। इसके बाद आरोपी घर की अलमारी से ₹30,000 नकद और कपड़े लेकर मोटरसाइकिल से फरार हो गया।

13 दिन बाद पुलिस के हत्थे चढ़ा आरोपी
एसएसपी देहरादून के निर्देश पर गठित पुलिस टीम ने तकनीकी सर्विलांस और मुखबिरों की मदद से 13 अगस्त को कुल्हाल क्षेत्र से आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पूछताछ में आरोपी ने अपना जुर्म कबूल किया। उसकी निशानदेही पर हत्या में प्रयुक्त पाटल, ₹17,500 नकद और मोटरसाइकिल बरामद की गई।
