राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से.नि.) ने आज आईटी पार्क स्थित राज्य आपातकालीन परिचालन केंद्र का दौरा कर धराली में चल रहे राहत और बचाव कार्यों की व्यापक समीक्षा की। इस दौरान उन्होंने आपदा प्रभावितों की सहायता और पुनर्वास के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयासों की जानकारी ली।

राज्यपाल ने ग्राउंड जीरो पर चल रहे राहत कार्यों का वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से अवलोकन किया और मौके पर तैनात अधिकारियों व कर्मियों से सीधा संवाद कर उनका उत्साह बढ़ाया। उन्होंने विषम परिस्थितियों में कार्य कर रहे सभी फ्रंटलाइन कर्मचारियों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि सड़क मार्ग बाधित होने और मौसम की चुनौतियों के बावजूद मात्र पांच दिनों में 1308 यात्रियों और स्थानीय निवासियों को सुरक्षित निकालना एक अद्वितीय उपलब्धि है।

उन्होंने इस सफलता के लिए सेना, वायुसेना, एनडीआरएफ, एसडीआरएफ, पुलिस, आईटीबीपी और यूकाडा जैसे सभी संबंधित एजेंसियों की सराहना की।

राज्यपाल ने कहा कि धराली में आई आपदा अत्यंत भीषण थी, और इस संकट की घड़ी में मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने फ्रंटफुट पर आकर जिस कुशलता और संकल्प के साथ स्थिति को संभाला, वह एक आदर्श नेतृत्व का प्रतीक है। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री स्वयं हर्षिल घाटी के पुनर्वास और क्षतिपूर्ति कार्यों की निगरानी कर रहे हैं, और इसमें किसी प्रकार की कमी नहीं आने दी जाएगी।

राज्यपाल ने धराली और हर्षिल क्षेत्र में किए जा रहे राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों को “सामूहिक उत्तरदायित्व” का आदर्श उदाहरण बताया। उन्होंने प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की कि सभी विभाग युद्धस्तर पर समन्वय के साथ कार्य कर रहे हैं और आशा जताई कि इन प्रयासों से हर्षिल घाटी जल्द ही फिर से खुशहाल बनेगी।

राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग द्वारा राज्य आपातकालीन परिचालन केंद्र से राहत कार्यों की निगरानी और सभी विभागों के बीच प्रभावी समन्वय को राज्यपाल ने विशेष रूप से सराहा। साथ ही उन्होंने इस कठिन समय में राज्य को हरसंभव सहायता देने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का भी आभार व्यक्त किया।

इस अवसर पर उपाध्यक्ष राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण विनय कुमार रुहेला, सचिव आपदा प्रबंधन एवं पुनर्वास विनोद कुमार सुमन, अपर सचिव आनंद स्वरूप, एससीईओ (क्रियान्वयन) डीआईजी राजकुमार नेगी, वित्त नियंत्रक अभिषेक कुमार आनंद तथा जेसीईओ मो. ओबैदुल्लाह अंसारी सहित कई वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
