मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू के नेतृत्व में वर्तमान राज्य सरकार ने इतिहास रचा है। अटल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल सुपर स्पेशलिटी चमियाना राज्य का पहला सरकारी स्वास्थ्य संस्थान बन गया है जहां रोबोटिक सर्जरी द्वारा सफल ऑपरेशन किया गया है। शिमला जिला के खलीनी क्षेत्र निवासी का राज्य में पहली रोबोटिक सर्जरी की गई। वह प्रोस्टेट संबंधी बीमारी से पीड़ित थे। डॉ. अनंत कुमार, डॉ. पम्पोश रैना और डॉ. पवन कौंडल की टीम ने सफलतापूर्वक पहली रोबोटिक सर्जरी की। चिकित्सकों के अनुसार यह प्रक्रिया लगभग तीन घंटे तक चली, जबकि सामान्य सर्जरी में इसमें कम से कम पांच घंटे लगते हैं। ऑपरेशन के दौरान मरीज को रक्त की आवश्यकता नहीं पड़ी जबकि पारंपरिक प्रक्रिया में आम तौर पर चार यूनिट रक्त की आवश्यकता होती है।

चिकित्सकों के अनुसार मरीज को ऑपरेशन के पश्चात 3 से 4 दिनों में अस्पताल से छुट्टी मिल सकती है जबकि पारम्परिक ऑपरेशन में 8 से 10 दिन लगते हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने सफलतापूर्वक रोबोटिक सर्जरी करने वाली टीम को बधाई दी। मरीज के सहायक ने बताया कि ऑपरेशन सफल रहा। उन्होंने कहा कि रोबोटिक सर्जरी चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में विश्व स्तरीय तकनीक है और हम इसके लिए मुख्यमंत्री और राज्य सरकार के आभारी हैं कि उन्होंने यह अत्याधुनिक सुविधा सरकारी अस्पताल से आरम्भ की। उन्होंने कहा कि इस सुविधा के आरम्भ होने से मरीजों को उच्च-स्तरीय उपचार के लिए राज्य से बाहर जाने की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी।यूरोलॉजी विभाग के कंसल्टेंट डॉ. कैलाश भरवाल ने कहा कि यह राज्य के चिकित्सा इतिहास में एक नए युग की शुरुआत है क्योंकि आज एआईएमएसएस चमियाना रोबोटिक सर्जरी करने वाला पहला संस्थान बन गया है।

उन्होंने कहा कि रोबोटिक सर्जरी चिकित्सकों को सटीकता के साथ ऑपरेशन करने में सक्षम बनाती है और सर्जरी के दौरान रक्त की हानि न्यूनतम होती है। उन्होंने कहा कि रोबोटिक सर्जरी के बाद मरीज शीघ्र ही सामान्य दिनचर्या में लौट सकता है क्योंकि इससे मरीज को शीघ्र स्वस्थ होने में मदद मिलती है।रोबोटिक सर्जरी में अत्याधुनिक रोबोटिक आर्म्स का उपयोग किया जाता है जिसमें हाथों की तुलना में कंपन लगभग समाप्त हो जाता है, इससे सर्जन अत्यंत सूक्ष्म और स्थिर गति से आपरेशन कर पाते हैं। यह नसों और रक्त वाहिकाओं जैसी नाजुक संरचनाओं के पास काम करते समय सटीकता को बढ़ाने में भी मदद करता है। अधिकतर रोबोटिक सर्जरी में पारंपरिक सर्जरी की तुलना में छोटे चीरे लगाए जाते हैं, जिससे आमतौर पर कम निशान और बेहतर परिणाम सामने आते हैं।

The present state government led by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has created history. Atal Institute of Medical Super Specialty Chamiyana has become the first government health institution in the state where a successful operation has been performed by robotic surgery. The first robotic surgery in the state was performed on a resident of Khalini area of Shimla district. He was suffering from prostate related disease. The team of Dr. Anant Kumar, Dr. Pomposh Raina and Dr. Pawan Kaundal successfully performed the first robotic surgery. According to the doctors, the procedure lasted for about three hours, whereas in normal surgery it takes at least five hours. The patient did not require blood during the operation, whereas in the traditional procedure, four units of blood are usually required.

According to doctors, the patient can be discharged from the hospital in 3 to 4 days after the operation, whereas traditional operation takes 8 to 10 days. The Chief Minister congratulated the team that successfully performed the robotic surgery. The patient’s assistant said that the operation was successful. He said that robotic surgery is a world-class technology in the medical field and we are grateful to the Chief Minister and the state government for starting this state-of-the-art facility in the government hospital. He said that with the start of this facility, patients will not need to go out of the state for high-level treatment. Dr. Kailash Bharwal, Consultant of Urology Department, said that this is the beginning of a new era in the medical history of the state as today AIMSS Chamiyana has become the first institute to perform robotic surgery.

He said robotic surgery enables doctors to operate with precision and there is minimal blood loss during surgery. He said patients can return to normal routine soon after robotic surgery as it helps in quick recovery. Robotic surgery uses state-of-the-art robotic arms which have almost no vibration compared to hands, allowing surgeons to operate with extremely precise and steady motion. It also helps in enhancing precision when working near delicate structures like nerves and blood vessels. Most robotic surgeries involve smaller incisions than conventional surgeries, which usually results in fewer scars and better outcomes.
