माजरा थाना पुलिस ने नशा तस्करी के खिलाफ बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए पीपलीवाला में एक युवक को स्मैक के साथ गिरफ्तार किया। आरोपी के पास से 8.90 ग्राम हेरोइन बरामद हुई है। जानकारी के मुताबिक, यह कार्रवाई 10 अगस्त को गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर की गई। पुलिस टीम ने मौके पर दबिश देकर आरोपी को रंगे हाथ पकड़ा। गिरफ्तार युवक की पहचान मुकाबिर खान (32), निवासी भगवानपुर के रूप में हुई। बरामद नशे को कब्जे में लेकर पुलिस ने एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है।

पुलिस के अनुसार, बरामद मात्रा भले ही कम हो, लेकिन यह नशे के कारोबार की गंभीरता और नेटवर्क की सक्रियता को दर्शाती है। आरोपी को आज अदालत में पेश किया जाएगा। डीएसपी पांवटा साहिब मानवेंद्र सिंह ठाकुर ने मामले की पुष्टि करते हुए कहा कि नशे के खिलाफ अभियान लगातार जारी रहेगा और ऐसे लोगों पर पैनी नजर रखी जा रही है। स्थानीय लोगों ने पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई की सराहना करते हुए उम्मीद जताई कि आगे भी ऐसे अभियान जारी रहेंगे, ताकि युवाओं को नशे के चंगुल से बचाया जा सके।

Majra police station took a big action against drug smuggling and arrested a youth with smack in Pipliwala. 8.90 grams of heroin has been recovered from the accused. According to the information, this action was taken on the basis of secret information on August 10. The police team raided the spot and caught the accused red handed. The arrested youth was identified as Mukabir Khan (32), resident of Bhagwanpur. The police have registered a case under the NDPS Act after seizing the recovered drugs.

According to the police, even though the quantity recovered is less, it shows the seriousness of the drug trade and the activity of the network. The accused will be presented in the court today. DSP Paonta Sahib Manvendra Singh Thakur confirmed the case and said that the campaign against drugs will continue and such people are being closely monitored. The local people appreciated the police action and expressed hope that such campaigns will continue in the future as well, so that the youth can be saved from the clutches of drugs.
