प्रदेश सरकार ने राज्य में ट्रेडर्स वेलफेयर बोर्ड का गठन कर दिया है। यह बोर्ड ट्रेडर्स यानी व्यापारियों की परेशानियों और उनकी समस्याओं का समाधान करेगा। मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू की अध्यक्षता में गठित बोर्ड में मुख्य सचिव सहित सभी प्रशासनिक सदस्य सचिव सदस्य बनाए गए हैं। कर एवं आबकारी आयुक्त बोर्ड के सदस्य सचिव होंगे। प्रदेश के विभिन्न जिलों के 111 कारोबारी को बोर्ड में गैर सरकारी सदस्य नियुक्त किया गया है। प्रदेश में कारोबारियों को बेहतर माहौल देने और उनकी समस्याओं का हल शीघ्र हो सके, इसके लिए इसका गठन किया गया है।

प्रधान सचिव देवेश कुमार कर एवं आबकारी विभाग ने इसकी अधिसूचना भी जारी कर दी है। मुख्यमंत्री ने व्यापारियों के हितों को बढ़ावा देने और विकास में योगदान देने में उनकी सहभागिता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए बोर्ड के गठन का फैसला लिया है। बोर्ड नीति निर्माण नियामक चुनौतियों का समाधान व्यापारियों का कल्याण सुनिश्चित करने तथा रोजगार व निवेश के अवसरों को बढ़ावा देने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेगा। प्रदेश में करीब 5 लाख परिवार प्रत्यक्ष और प्रत्यक्ष रूप से सीधे व्यापार से जुड़े हुए हैं। बोर्ड गठित की अधिसूचना होने के बाद शिमला के ही नहीं, प्रदेश भर के व्यापारियों ने इस निर्णय स्वागत किया है।

To solve the problems of traders, the state government has formed a Traders Welfare Board

The state government has constituted a Traders Welfare Board in the state. This board will solve the problems of traders. All administrative member secretaries including the chief secretary have been made members in the board constituted under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. The Tax and Excise Commissioner will be the member secretary of the board. 111 businessmen from different districts of the state have been appointed as non-official members in the board. It has been constituted to provide a better environment to the businessmen in the state and to solve their problems quickly.

Principal Secretary Devesh Kumar, Tax and Excise Department has also issued its notification. The Chief Minister has decided to form a board to promote the interests of traders and ensure their participation in contributing to development. The board will focus on policy making, resolving regulatory challenges, ensuring the welfare of traders and promoting employment and investment opportunities. About 5 lakh families in the state are directly and indirectly associated with trade. After the notification of the formation of the board, traders not only from Shimla but from across the state have welcomed this decision.
