इंदिरा गांधी मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं अस्पताल आईजीएमसी शिमला में मंगलवार से मरीज और तीमारदारों की सहायता के लिए स्वयंसेवी और एनसीसी कैंडिडेट तैनात किए जाएंगे। प्रदेश सरकार की महत्वाकांक्षी सारथी योजना के तहत यह व्यवस्था की की गई है। इससे मरीजों को अस्पताल परिसर में भटकना नहीं पड़ेगा और समय पर चिकित्सा सेवाएं मिल सकेगी। इस योजना में शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य विभाग मिलकर काम कर रहे हैं। मंगलवार से शुरू हुई पहल पर प्रधानाचार्य सीता ठाकुर ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया आईजीएमसी में आने वाले मरीजों के लिए न केवल सहूलियत का कारण बनेगी बल्कि छात्रों के सामाजिक जुड़ाव और संवाद कौशल को भी निखारेंगी । पहले चरण में राजकीय महाविद्यालय संजौली से 23 छात्रों का चयन किया गया है। इस पहल से मरीज को सुविधा होगी।

NCC candidates deployed in IGMC Shimla under Sarathi Yojana.

Volunteers and NCC candidates will be deployed to help patients and their attendants at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital IGMC Shimla from Tuesday. This arrangement has been made under the state government’s ambitious Sarathi Yojana. Due to this, patients will not have to wander around the hospital premises and will be able to get medical services on time. Education and Health departments are working together in this scheme. Principal Sita Thakur, while giving information on the initiative started from Tuesday, said that it will not only be a cause of convenience for the patients coming to IGMC but will also enhance the social connection and communication skills of the students. In the first phase, 23 students have been selected from Government College Sanjauli. This initiative will be convenient for the patients.
