हिमाचल प्रदेश में सरकारी स्कूलों की शिक्षा प्रणाली को राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं के अनुकूल और गुणवत्तापूर्ण बनाने के लिए उन्हें सीबीएसई में शिफ्ट किया जाएगा। राज्य में स्कूल शिक्षा बोर्ड से लगभग सभी 1,900 वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक स्कूल संबद्ध हैं, जिनमें से पहले चरण में 100 स्कूलों को सीबीएसई से जोड़ा जाएगा। यह बदलाव अगले शैक्षणिक सत्र से प्रभावी होगा, लेकिन एफिलिएशन की प्रक्रिया वर्तमान सत्र में पूरी करने का लक्ष्य है। सुक्खू सरकार का यह निर्णय न केवल सरकारी स्कूलों की शिक्षा को आधुनिक और प्रतिस्पर्धी बनाएगा, बल्कि विद्यार्थियों को राष्ट्रीय मंच पर बेहतर अवसर भी प्रदान करेगा।

स्कूल शिक्षा निदेशालय ने सभी जिलों को निर्देशित किया है कि वे अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों से ऐसे स्कूलों की सूची भेजें जो इन दोनों मापदंडों पर खरे उतरते हों। प्राथमिकता ऐसे स्कूलों को दी जा रही है जो उपमंडल मुख्यालयों में स्थित हैं या वहां के आसपास के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के लिए शैक्षणिक केंद्र की भूमिका निभा रहे हैं। इससे यह सुनिश्चित होगा कि इन स्कूलों तक पहुंच रखने वाले अधिकतम छात्र इस पहल से लाभान्वित हों। पूर्व सरकार के समय से चल रहे अटल आदर्श विद्यालयों को भी इसमें शामिल किया जाएगा। सीबीएसई से एफिलिएशन मिलने पर विद्यार्थियों को राष्ट्रीय स्तर का पाठ्यक्रम मिलेगा, जो जेईई, नीट, सीयूईटी जैसी प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं के लिए उपयुक्त होगा। साथ ही, कॅरिअर गाइडेंस, छात्रवृत्ति और डिजिटल लर्निंग टूल्स जैसे स्मार्ट क्लासेस की सुविधा भी मिलेगी। शिक्षकों को राष्ट्रीय मानकों के अनुरूप प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा और स्कूलों की भौतिक संरचना को और सुदृढ़ किया जाएगा।

In Himachal Pradesh, the education system of government schools will be shifted to CBSE to make them compatible and qualitative for national level competitive examinations. Almost all 1,900 senior secondary schools in the state are affiliated with the School Education Board, out of which 100 schools will be linked to CBSE in the first phase. This change will be effective from the next academic session, but the process of affiliation is targeted to be completed in the current session. This decision of the Sukhu government will not only make the education of government schools modern and competitive, but will also provide better opportunities to the students on the national stage.

The Directorate of School Education has directed all districts to send a list of schools from their respective areas that meet both these criteria. Priority is being given to schools that are located in sub-divisional headquarters or are playing the role of educational centers for the surrounding rural areas. This will ensure that maximum students who have access to these schools benefit from this initiative. On getting affiliation from CBSE, students will get national level curriculum, which will be suitable for competitive examinations like JEE, NEET, CUET. Along with this, facilities of smart classes like career guidance, scholarship and digital learning tools will also be available. Teachers will be trained as per national standards and the physical infrastructure of schools will be further strengthened.
