स्वतंत्रता दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में RR Sports की ओर से 15 अगस्त 2025 को एक भव्य बैडमिंटन टूर्नामेंट का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। यह आयोजन पांवटा साहिब के बैडमिंटन हॉल, गुज्जर कॉलोनी (वार्ड नं-2, बद्रीपुर) में होगा। जिसका विधिवत उद्घाटन दून प्रेस क्लब के अध्यक्ष मुकेश रमोल और दून प्रेस क्लब के सदस्य करेगें। इस प्रतियोगिता में विभिन्न आयु वर्गों के खिलाड़ियों के लिए तीन श्रेणियों में मुकाबले रखे गए हैं:
सिंगल्स अंडर-19,डबल्स ओपन एज ग्रुप,डबल्स (संयुक्त आयु 80+ वर्ष) इस प्रतियोगिता का प्रवेश शुल्क सिंगल्स: ₹500,डबल्स टीम: ₹1400 रहेगा।

आयोजकों ने बताया कि प्रतियोगिता में Yonex MAVIS 350 शटल का प्रयोग किया जाएगा और खिलाड़ियों के लिए नॉन-मार्किंग जूते पहनना अनिवार्य है। उन्होंने बताया की विजेताओं और उपविजेताओं को नकद इनाम, ट्रॉफी और गिफ्ट्स भी दिए जाएंगे। प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों के लिए लंच और रिफ्रेशमेंट की भी व्यवस्था रहेगी। अधिक जानकारी के लिए संपर्क करें:

To commemorate Independence Day, RR Sports is organizing a grand badminton tournament on 15 August 2025. This event will be held at Badminton Hall, Gujjar Colony (Ward No. 2, Badripur), Paonta Sahib. Which will be formally inaugurated by Doon Press Club President Mukesh Ramol and members of Doon Press Club.

In this competition, matches have been kept in three categories for players of different age groups:

Singles Under-19, Doubles Open Age Group, Doubles (Combined Age 80+ Years)

The entry fee for this competition will be Singles: ₹ 500, Doubles Team: ₹ 1400.

The organisers said that Yonex MAVIS 350 shuttles will be used in the competition and it is mandatory for the players to wear non-marking shoes. They said that the winners and runners-up will also be given cash prizes, trophies and gifts. Lunch and refreshments will also be arranged for the players participating in the competition.
