श्रावण माह के सोमवार को जिला सिरमौर के शिवालयों में आस्था का अद्भुत संगम देखने को मिला। सुबह से ही शिव भक्तों की लंबी कतारें मंदिरों के बाहर लग गई, जो भगवान भोलेनाथ पर जलाभिषेक करने के लिए आतुर दिखे। सतयुग कालीन पौड़ी वाला शिव मंदिर, पिपली वाला पातालेश्वर शिव मंदिर, चूड़ेश्वर मंदिर, रानीताल शिव मंदिर, जोगन वाली शिव मंदिर, काली स्थान शिव मंदिर, स्वयंभू शिवलिंग शिव मंदिर काला अंब, और शिव मंदिर ढाबों मोहल्ला जैसे महत्वपूर्ण मंदिरों में भक्तों का तांता लगा रहा। भक्तों ने शिवलिंग पर जल, दूध, बेलपत्र और पुष्प अर्पित किए और अपनी मनोकामनाएं भगवान शिव के समक्ष रखीं।इस अवसर पर आचार्य वेद ज्ञाता पंडित नितेश भारद्वाज और पंडित गणेश दत्त ने श्रावण मास और सोमवार के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।

उन्होंने बताया कि श्रावण मास भगवान शिव को अत्यंत प्रिय है और इस माह में की गई पूजा-अर्चना विशेष फलदायी होती है। रानीताल शिव मंदिर के पुजारी पंडित काकूराम ने श्रद्धालुओं को जलाभिषेक की सही विधि और महत्व के बारे में जानकारी दी। श्रावण के सोमवार का हिंदू धर्म में विशेष महत्व है। मान्यता है कि इस दिन भगवान शिव की पूजा करने से सभी प्रकार के कष्ट दूर होते हैं और मनोवांछित फल की प्राप्ति होती है। यही कारण है कि सिरमौर के शिवालयों में छोटे बच्चों से लेकर बुजुर्गों तक, हर आयु वर्ग के श्रद्धालु बड़ी संख्या में पहुंचे। मंदिरों में ‘हर-हर महादेव’ और ‘ओम नमः शिवाय’ के जयकारों से वातावरण भक्तिमय बना रहा। कई भक्तों ने कठिन चढ़ाई वाले चूड़ेश्वर मंदिर की भी यात्रा की, जो उनकी अटूट श्रद्धा का प्रतीक है। प्रशासन की ओर से भी भक्तों की सुविधा और सुरक्षा के लिए उचित प्रबंध किए गए थे। श्रावण माह के सोमवार को सिरमौर के शिवालयों में उमड़ी यह श्रद्धा और भक्ति की लहर पूरे दिन जारी रही, जो भगवान शिव के प्रति लोगों की गहरी आस्था को दर्शाती है।

On Monday of Shravan month, a wonderful confluence of faith was seen in the Shiva temples of Sirmaur district. From the morning itself, long queues of Shiva devotees were seen outside the temples, who were eager to perform Jalabhishek on Lord Bholenath. There was a rush of devotees in important temples like Satyayug period Pauri Wala Shiva Temple, Pipli Wala Pataleshwar Shiva Temple, Chudeshwar Temple, Ranital Shiva Temple, Jogan Wali Shiva Temple, Kali Sthan Shiva Temple, Swayambhu Shivling Shiva Temple Kala Amb, and Shiva Temple Dhabaon Mohalla. Devotees offered water, milk, Belpatra and flowers on the Shivalinga and placed their wishes before Lord Shiva. On this occasion, Acharya Ved Gyana Pandit Nitesh Bhardwaj and Pandit Ganesh Dutt highlighted the importance of Shravan month and Monday.

He told that the month of Shravan is very dear to Lord Shiva and the worship done in this month is especially fruitful. Pandit Kaku Ram, the priest of Ranital Shiva temple, informed the devotees about the correct method and importance of Jalabhishek. Monday of Shravan has special significance in Hinduism. It is believed that by worshipping Lord Shiva on this day, all kinds of troubles are removed and the desired result is achieved. This is the reason why devotees of all age groups, from small children to the elderly, reached the Shiva temples of Sirmaur in large numbers. The atmosphere in the temples remained devotional with the chants of ‘Har-Har Mahadev’ and ‘Om Namah Shivay’. Many devotees also visited the Chudeshwar temple with a difficult climb, which is a symbol of their unwavering faith. Appropriate arrangements were also made by the administration for the convenience and safety of the devotees. This wave of faith and devotion that surged in the Shiva temples of Sirmaur on Monday of the month of Shravan continued throughout the day, which shows the deep faith of the people towards Lord Shiva.
