भाई-बहन के स्नेह और सुरक्षा के पावन पर्व रक्षाबंधन की तिथि इस वर्ष 9 अगस्त को तय की गई है। यह पर्व श्रावण मास की पूर्णिमा तिथि को मनाया जाता है, और इस बार यह तिथि 8 अगस्त को दोपहर 02:12 बजे से शुरू होकर 09 अगस्त को दोपहर 01:21 बजे तक रहेगी। उदया तिथि के अनुसार पर्व 9 अगस्त को ही मनाया जाएगा। हिमाचल प्रदेश के ख्याति प्राप्त कथा व्यास आचार्य सुनील शर्मा के अनुसार, इस रक्षाबंधन पर सर्वार्थ सिद्धि योग, श्रवण नक्षत्र, और धनिष्ठा नक्षत्र का दुर्लभ संयोग रहेगा, जो इस दिन को और भी खास बनाता है। साथ ही, ब्रह्म मुहूर्त सुबह 04:22 से 05:04 बजे तक और अभिजीत मुहूर्त दोपहर 12:17 से 12:53 बजे तक रहेगा।

विशेष बात यह है कि इस वर्ष रक्षाबंधन पर भद्रा का दोष नहीं रहेगा। भद्रा काल दोपहर 01:52 बजे समाप्त हो जाएगा, जबकि राखी बांधने का शुभ मुहूर्त सुबह 05:47 बजे से दोपहर 01:24 बजे तक रहेगा। रक्षाबंधन पर बहनें अपने भाइयों की लंबी उम्र, सफलता और समृद्धि की कामना करते हुए उन्हें राखी बांधती हैं, और भाई जीवनभर रक्षा का वचन देते हैं। यह पर्व केवल एक परंपरा नहीं, बल्कि पारिवारिक संबंधों को मजबूती देने का सशक्त प्रतीक भी है।

This festival is celebrated on the full moon date of Shravan month, and this time this date will start from 02:12 pm on 8 August and will last till 01:21 pm on 09 August. According to Udaya Tithi, the festival will be celebrated on 9 August itself. According to Himachal Pradesh’s renowned Katha Vyas Acharya Sunil Sharma, there will be a rare combination of Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga, Shravan Nakshatra, and Dhanishtha Nakshatra on this Rakshabandhan, which makes this day even more special. Also, Brahma Muhurta will be from 04:22 am to 05:04 am and Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 12:17 pm to 12:53 pm.

The special thing is that this year there will be no Bhadra Dosh on Raksha Bandhan. Bhadra Kaal will end at 01:52 pm, while the auspicious time for tying Rakhi will be from 05:47 am to 01:24 pm.
