प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा हाल ही में सिरमौर जिला के ददाहू क्षेत्र में नई पंचायत समिति का गठन किया गया है। इस नवगठित समिति में कुल 25पंचायतों को शामिल किया गया है, जिसमें नाहन उपमंडल की 11, संगड़ाह उपमंडल की 7 और पांवटा साहिब उपमंडल की 7 पंचायतें शामिल हैं। साथ ही इस नई समिति के अंतर्गत जिला परिषद का भी एक नया वार्ड बनाया गया है। इस संबंध में एसडीएम नाहन राजीव सांख्यान ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि ददाहू पंचायत समिति के गठन के साथ ही प्रभावित पंचायत समितियों के निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों को दोबारा अधिसूचित किया जा रहा है। 31 जुलाई तक आम जनता से आपत्तियाँ आमंत्रित की गई थीं और अब उन पर प्राप्त सुझावों व आपत्तियों का निपटारा 4 अगस्त तक किया जाएगा। तत्पश्चात पूरी रिपोर्ट उपायुक्त सिरमौर प्रियंका वर्मा को सौंप दी जाएगी। एसडीएम ने बताया कि इससे पहले भी परिसीमन की एक रिपोर्ट उपायुक्त कार्यालय को भेजी गई थी, लेकिन पंचायत समिति और जिला परिषद वार्ड के पुनर्गठन के चलते लोगों से दोबारा आपत्तियाँ मंगवाई गईं। यह प्रक्रिया अब अंतिम चरण में है। गौरतलब है कि ददाहू में BDO कार्यालय खोलने की घोषणा पूर्व में जयराम ठाकुर सरकार द्वारा की गई थी, लेकिन मौजूदा सरकार ने इसे डीनोटिफाई कर दिया था। हाल ही में लोगों की ओर से उठाई गई मांगों और जनभावनाओं को देखते हुए सरकार ने इस कार्यालय को दोबारा अधिसूचित कर दिया है। इससे ददाहू क्षेत्र के ग्रामीणों को अब प्रशासनिक कार्यों के लिए दूरदराज नहीं जाना पड़ेगा और उन्हें स्थानीय स्तर पर ही पंचायत समिति से संबंधित सुविधाएं मिलेंगी।

The state government has recently formed a new Panchayat Samiti in Dadahu area of Sirmaur district. A total of 25 Panchayats have been included in this newly formed committee, which includes 11 Panchayats of Nahan sub-division, 7 of Sangrah sub-division and 7 Panchayats of Paonta Sahib sub-division. Also, a new ward of the District Council has also been created under this new committee. Giving information in this regard, SDM Nahan Rajiv Sankhyan said that with the formation of Dadahu Panchayat Samiti, the constituencies of the affected Panchayat Samitis are being re-notified. Objections were invited from the general public till July 31 and now the suggestions and objections received on them will be settled by August 4. Thereafter, the entire report will be submitted to Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Priyanka Verma.

SDM said that earlier also a report of delimitation was sent to the Deputy Commissioner’s office, but due to reorganization of Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad wards, objections were sought again from the people. This process is now in the final stage. It is worth noting that the announcement of opening BDO office in Dadahu was earlier made by the Jairam Thakur government, but the present government had denotified it. Recently, in view of the demands raised by the people and public sentiments, the government has notified this office again. With this, the villagers of Dadahu area will no longer have to go far away for administrative work and they will get facilities related to Panchayat Samiti at the local level itself.
