सिरमौर जिले में धान की फसल रोग की चपेट में, किसानों की बढ़ी चिंता

सिरमौर जिले में इन दिनों धान की फसल रोग की चपेट में है। धान की फसल की ग्रोथ सही न होने के चलते किसानों की चिंता बढ़ रही है। उधर, फसल में बौना विषाणु रोग का खतरा बताते हुए कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र के वैज्ञानिकों ने किसानों के लिए एडवाइजरी भी जारी की है। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार इन दिनों जिले के मध्य पहाड़ी व निचले क्षेत्रों में धान की फसल में यह रोग बड़े पैमाने पर देखा जा रहा है। एकाएक रोग के आने से किसानों की नींद हराम हुई है। बताया जा रहा है कि कई क्षेत्रों में तो किसानों ने फसल खराब होने पर पुन: धान की रोपाई का काम शुरू किया है। ऐसे में किसानों को दोहरी मार पड़ रही है।
कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र के वैज्ञानिकों ने धान की फसल में काली धारीदार बौना विषाणु (वायरस) के बढ़ते प्रकोप को देखते हुए जिला के धान किसानों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण सलाह जारी की है। कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र धौलाकुआं की विषय बाद विशेषज्ञ, पादप रोग डॉ. शिवाली धीमान ने बताया कि इस वर्ष, सिरमौर जिले की पांवटा घाटी के टोका नंगला, केदारपुर, जमानी वाला, सूरजपुर, नवादा, मिश्र वाला, फतेह पुर, कोलार, धौलाकुआं जैसे कई स्थानों सहित प्रमुख धान उत्पादक क्षेत्रों से इसके प्रकोप की सूचना मिली है। यह रोग पौधों की वृद्धि को रोकता है और यदि इसका उचित प्रबंधन नहीं किया गया, तो फसल को भारी नुकसान हो सकता है।

Meanwhile, scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendra have also issued advisory for farmers, citing the danger of dwarf virus disease in the crop. According to the information received, these days this disease is being seen on a large scale in paddy crop in the central hilly and lower areas of the district. The sudden arrival of the disease has given sleepless nights to the farmers. It is being told that in many areas, farmers have started transplanting paddy again after the crop got damaged. In such a situation, farmers are facing a double blow.
Scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendra have issued an important advice for the paddy farmers of the district in view of the increasing outbreak of black striped dwarf virus in paddy crop. Subject Matter Specialist, Plant Diseases, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Dhaulkuan, Dr. Shivali Dhiman said that this year, its outbreak has been reported from major paddy producing areas including many places like Toka Nangla, Kedarpur, Zamani Wala, Surajpur, Nawada, Mishra Wala, Fatehpur, Kolar, Dhaulkuan of Paonta Valley of Sirmaur district. This disease stops the growth of plants and if it is not managed properly, then there can be heavy damage to the crop.
