वीर भूमि हिमाचल प्रदेश के गौरवशाली इतिहास में शुक्रवार का दिन एक और बड़ी उपलब्धि के रूप में दर्ज हो गया है। प्रदेश के वीर सपूत वाइस एडमिरल संजय वात्स्यायन, एवीएसएम, एनएम ने शुक्रवार को भारतीय नौसेना के 47वें उप-नौसेना प्रमुख का पदभार ग्रहण किया। जिला हमीरपुर के हीरानगर निवासी वाइस एडमिरल वात्स्यायन तीन दशकों से अधिक के विशिष्ट सैन्य अनुभव के साथ नौसेना के अनेक प्रमुख कमान, स्टाफ और रणनीतिक पदों पर सेवा दे चुके हैं।

अपने असाधारण नेतृत्व क्षमता और सराहनीय सेवा के लिए 2021 में विशिष्ट सेवा पदक से सम्मानित वाइस एडमिरल संजय वात्स्यायन का नेतृत्व और अनुभव भारतीय नौसेना के भविष्य को मजबूती प्रदान करेगा। उनका जीवन देश के युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणा स्रोत है। इस बीच मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने उन्हें इस नई जिम्मेदारी के लिए शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि यह हिमाचल के लिए गर्व का विषय है कि प्रदेश के सपूत राष्ट्र सेवा में नए आयाम स्थापित कर रहे हैं। नेता प्रतिपक्ष जयराम ठाकुर ने भी उन्हें भारतीय नौसेना के 47वें उप-नौसेना प्रमुख का पदभार ग्रहण करने पर बधाई दी है।

Friday has been recorded as another big achievement in the glorious history of Veer Bhoomi Himachal Pradesh. The state’s brave son Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsyayan, AVSM, NM took over as the 47th Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff of the Indian Navy on Friday. Vice Admiral Vatsyayan, a resident of Hiranagar in Hamirpur district, has served in many key command, staff and strategic positions in the Navy with a distinguished military experience of more than three decades.

The leadership and experience of Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan, who was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal in 2021 for his exceptional leadership ability and commendable service, will strengthen the future of the Indian Navy. His life is a source of inspiration for the youth of the country. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu congratulated him for this new responsibility and said that it is a matter of pride for Himachal that the sons of the state are setting new dimensions in national service. Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has also congratulated him on assuming the charge of the 47th Deputy Chief of the Indian Navy.
