हरिद्वार। जनपद हरिद्वार के थाना पिरान कलियर क्षेत्र में हरिद्वार पुलिस ने ‘ऑपरेशन कालनेमी’ के तहत बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए तंत्र-मंत्र और जादू-टोना जैसी गतिविधियों में संलिप्त छह फर्जी बाबाओं को गिरफ्तार किया है।
इन तथाकथित बाबाओं पर आरोप है कि वे धार्मिक आस्थाओं का दुरुपयोग कर आम जनमानस को भ्रमित कर रहे थे और अंधविश्वास फैलाकर लोगों से धन ऐंठ रहे थे।
पुलिस ने समयबद्ध तरीके से कार्रवाई करते हुए क्षेत्र में शांति और कानून व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित की है।
हरिद्वार पुलिस का यह अभियान ऐसे असामाजिक तत्वों के विरुद्ध सख्त संदेश है कि धार्मिक आस्था के नाम पर किसी भी प्रकार की ठगी या धोखाधड़ी को बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।
