हिमाचल प्रदेश में लगातार जारी बारिश के जगह-जगह भूस्खलन से कई इलाकों में सड़कें, बिजली व पेयजल आपूर्ति ठप है। इससे लोगों की दुश्वारियां बढ़ गई हैं। राज्य में शुक्रवार सुबह 10:00 बजे तक 317 सड़कें बाधित रहीं। इसके अतिरिक्त 360 बिजली ट्रांसफार्मर व 259 जल आपूर्ति योजनाएं भी प्रभावित हैं। सबसे ज्यादा 174 सड़कें आपदा प्रभावित मंडी जिले में बंद हैं। चंबा जिले में 142 बिजली ट्रांसफार्मर व कांगड़ा में 134 जल आपूर्ति योजनाएं प्रभावित हैं। उधर, किरतपुर-मनाली फोरलेन पर समलेटू के पास भूस्खलन होने से बाधित हो गया। चंडीगढ़ की ओर जाने वाले वाहनों को पुराने मार्ग यानी नौणी-स्वारघाट होकर भेजा जा रहा है।

मंडी में पंडोह बांध के पास भूस्खलन के बाद चंडीगढ़-मनाली राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग अवरुद्ध हो गया है। माना जा रहा है कि बीती रात से लगातार हो रही बारिश के कारण भूस्खलन हुआ है। एसपी मंडी साक्षी वर्मा ने कहा कि अधिकारी मौके पर हैं और मलबा हटाने और यातायात बहाल किया जा रहा है। चंबा जिले में बारिश ने लोगों की मुसीबतें बढ़ा दी है। भरमौर-पठानकोट हाईवे समेत 45 मार्गों पर आवाजाही बाधित है। मूसलाधार बारिश के चलते जिले के स्कूल और आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र आज बंद रखने का फैसला लिया गया है। जिले में 25 पेयजल योजनाएं भी प्रभावित हैं। डीसी चंबा मुकेश रेप्सवाल ने कहा कि बच्चों की सुरक्षा को देखते हुए शिक्षण संस्थान बंद रखने का फैसला लिया गया है। वहीं चंबा-तीसा मुख्य मार्ग कॉलोनी मोड़ के समीप भूस्खलन से बंद हो गया।

नकरोड़-चांजू मार्ग भी कठवाड़ के समीप अवरूद्ध हो गया। चुराह में 20 ट्रांसफार्मर बंद होने से लोग अंधेरे में रहने को मजबूर हैं। चंडीगढ़-मनाली राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर मंडी से कुल्लू की ओर जाने वाले मार्ग पर स्थित कैंची मोड़ फोरलेन से आगे मगर नाले के पास एक बार फिर सड़क धंसने लगी है। यह वही स्थान है जहां वर्ष 2023 में भी भारी भूस्खलन और सड़क धंसने की घटनाएं हुई थीं। उस समय सड़क का एक बड़ा हिस्सा धंस गया था, जिसकी मरम्मत कर रास्ता बहाल किया गया था। अब एक बार फिर वही इलाका खतरे की जद में है। हालंकि इससे 500 मीटर पहले कैंची मोड़ फोरलेन पर भी कुछ दिन पहले सड़क का एक डबल लेन हिस्सा टूट कर गिर चुका है और अब इस जगह भी सड़क धसने का खतरा बरकरार है। फिलहाल पंडोह पुलिस मौके पर तैनात है और यातायात को सुरक्षित रूप से निकालने के प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।

Due to continuous rains and landslides in many areas of Himachal Pradesh, roads, electricity and drinking water supply have been disrupted in many areas. This has increased the difficulties of the people. 317 roads remained blocked in the state till 10:00 am on Friday. Apart from this, 360 electricity transformers and 259 water supply schemes are also affected. Maximum 174 roads are closed in the disaster affected Mandi district. 142 electricity transformers in Chamba district and 134 water supply schemes in Kangra are affected. On the other hand, Kiratpur-Manali four lane was blocked due to landslide near Samletu. Vehicles going towards Chandigarh are being sent through the old route i.e. Nauni-Swarghat.

The Chandigarh-Manali national highway has been blocked after a landslide near Pandoh dam in Mandi. It is believed that the landslide has occurred due to continuous rain since last night. SP Mandi Sakshi Verma said that officials are on the spot and are removing the debris and restoring traffic. Rain has increased the troubles of the people in Chamba district. Movement is disrupted on 45 routes including Bharmour-Pathankot highway. Due to torrential rains, it has been decided to keep the schools and Anganwadi centers of the district closed today. 25 drinking water schemes are also affected in the district. DC Chamba Mukesh Repswal said that keeping in view the safety of children, it has been decided to keep the educational institutions closed. On the other hand, the Chamba-Tisa main road was closed due to a landslide near Colony Mor.

The Nakrod-Chanju road also got blocked near Kathwad. People are forced to live in the dark due to the shutdown of 20 transformers in Churah. The road has started sinking once again near Magar Nala, ahead of the Scissors Turn Fourlane on the road from Mandi to Kullu on the Chandigarh-Manali National Highway. This is the same place where incidents of heavy landslides and road collapse had also occurred in the year 2023. At that time a large part of the road had collapsed, which was repaired and the road was restored. Now once again the same area is in danger. However, 500 meters before this, a double lane part of the road has also broken and fallen a few days ago on the Scissors Turn Fourlane and now the danger of road collapse remains at this place as well. At present, the Pandoh police is deployed on the spot and efforts are being made to remove the traffic safely.
