प्रधानमंत्री श्री राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय छात्र, पांवटा साहिब में भारत विकास परिषद शाखा पांवटा साहिब द्वारा नशा मुक्त भारत जागरूकता अभियान का प्रभावशाली आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में विद्यार्थियों, उनके अभिभावकों और शिक्षकों की उपस्थिति में नशे की बढ़ती प्रवृत्ति और उससे होने वाले सामाजिक दुष्परिणामों पर गंभीर चर्चा हुई। मुख्य वक्ता डॉ. नवदीप, मानसिक रोग विशेषज्ञ, सिविल अस्पताल पांवटा साहिब ने नशा निवारण को लेकर अत्यंत वैज्ञानिक और सरल शैली में जागरूकता फैलाते हुए विद्यार्थियों को प्रेरित किया कि वे गलत संगति से बचते हुए “नशे को ना, शिक्षा को हां” के भाव को जीवन में आत्मसात करें।

इस अवसर पर कार्यक्रम संयोजिका सुमन गुप्ता ने भी विद्यार्थियों को जागरूक करते हुए अभिभावकों की भूमिका को रेखांकित किया। डॉ. भूपेश धीमान (प्रांत महिला सहभागिता) ने भारत विकास परिषद के उद्देश्यों के साथ-साथ नशे की सामाजिक जड़ों पर भी प्रकाश डाला और संयमित जीवन की प्रेरणा दी। कार्यक्रम में अजय शर्मा (संपर्क संयोजक, भारत विकास परिषद) ने खेलों और सह-पाठ्यक्रम गतिविधियों के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों को सकारात्मक दिशा में उर्जा केंद्रित करने का आह्वान किया।

विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य डॉ. प्रेमपाल ठाकुर ने इस जागरूकता कार्यक्रम के लिए भारत विकास परिषद का आभार प्रकट करते हुए कहा कि इस तरह की पहल विद्यार्थियों के सर्वांगीण विकास में मील का पत्थर सिद्ध होती है। राजेश शर्मा ने विद्यार्थियों को प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी में नि:शुल्क सहायता देने का वादा किया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन मीनाक्षी शर्मा (उप प्रधानाचार्य) और सुमति शर्मा (वरिष्ठ प्रवक्ता) ने संयुक्त रूप से किया। इस सफल आयोजन में भारत विकास परिषद पांवटा साहिब शाखा के रामगोपाल गुप्ता, हेमंत जैन, गीता पंवार, और विद्यालय परिवार के शिक्षक मनमोहन सिंह (DPE), शर्मा जी (शारीरिक शिक्षक) सहित अभिभावकगण एवं छात्र-छात्राएं शामिल रहे। अंत में भारत विकास परिषद प्रांत कोषाध्यक्ष नीरज गोयल, शाखा अध्यक्ष अनिल सैनी, सचिव नीरज उदवानी व कोषाध्यक्ष नीरज गुप्ता ने कार्यक्रम संयोजिका सुमन गुप्ता और विद्यालय परिवार को बधाई दी और भविष्य में ऐसे और कार्यक्रमों के आयोजन का आश्वासन दिया।

In Paonta Sahib, Bharat Vikas Parishad branch Paonta Sahib organized an effective awareness campaign for a drug-free India. In this program, in the presence of students, their parents and teachers, a serious discussion was held on the growing trend of drug addiction and its social ill effects. The chief speaker, Dr. Navdeep, psychiatrist, Civil Hospital Paonta Sahib, spread awareness about drug prevention in a very scientific and simple manner and inspired the students to avoid bad company and imbibe the spirit of “No to drugs, Yes to education” in their lives.

On this occasion, program coordinator Suman Gupta also made the students aware and highlighted the role of parents. Dr. Bhupesh Dhiman (Provincial Women’s Participation) highlighted the objectives of Bharat Vikas Parishad as well as the social roots of drug addiction and inspired people to live a disciplined life. In the program, Ajay Sharma (Contact Coordinator, Bharat Vikas Parishad) called upon the students to focus their energy in a positive direction through sports and co-curricular activities.

The Principal of the school Dr. Prempal Thakur thanked Bharat Vikas Parishad for this awareness program and said that such initiatives prove to be a milestone in the all-round development of students. Rajesh Sharma promised to provide free assistance to the students in preparing for competitive examinations. The program was jointly conducted by Meenakshi Sharma (Vice Principal) and Sumati Sharma (Senior Lecturer). Ram Gopal Gupta, Hemant Jain, Geeta Panwar of Bharat Vikas Parishad Paonta Sahib branch and teachers Manmohan Singh (DPE), Sharma ji (Physical Teacher) of the school family along with parents and students participated in this successful event. In the end, Bharat Vikas Parishad State Treasurer Neeraj Goyal, Branch President Anil Saini, Secretary Neeraj Udwani and Treasurer Neeraj Gupta congratulated the program coordinator Suman Gupta and the school family and assured to organize more such programs in future.
