सीएम से मिले सेना के मध्य कमान प्रमुख,समन्वय व सहयोग पर हुई चर्चा

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से आज मुख्यमंत्री कैंप कार्यालय में भारतीय सेना की मध्य कमान के जनरल ऑफिसर कमांडिंग-इन-चीफ, लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल अनिंद्य सेनगुप्ता (UYSM, AVSM, YSM) ने शिष्टाचार भेंट की। इस दौरान राज्य के सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में सैन्य एवं नागरिक प्रशासन के बीच बेहतर समन्वय स्थापित करने को लेकर व्यापक विचार-विमर्श हुआ।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि भारतीय सेना न केवल देश की एकता, संप्रभुता और अखंडता की रक्षा में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रही है, बल्कि नागरिक समाज के साथ समन्वय बनाकर विकास कार्यों में भी सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रही है। उन्होंने यह भी उल्लेख किया कि उत्तराखण्ड जैसे सीमावर्ती राज्य में सेना द्वारा स्थानीय समुदायों की सहायता हेतु सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्वों का सराहनीय रूप से निर्वहन किया जा रहा है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के समय सेना द्वारा किए जाने वाले राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों की भी विशेष सराहना की और कहा कि सेना का योगदान अत्यंत प्रशंसनीय है। उन्होंने भरोसा दिलाया कि राज्य सरकार, सेना की सभी महत्वपूर्ण पहलों में हरसंभव सहयोग करती रहेगी।

लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल अनिंद्य सेनगुप्ता ने मुख्यमंत्री को सीमांत क्षेत्रों के समग्र विकास हेतु मध्य कमान द्वारा संचालित कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि सेना सुरक्षा के साथ-साथ सामाजिक विकास के लिए भी पूरी प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कार्य कर रही है। सीमांत क्षेत्रों में बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास, सामुदायिक सहभागिता, युवाओं से संवाद और अग्रिम क्षेत्रों में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए अनेक पहल की गई हैं।

इस अवसर पर प्रमुख सचिव आर.के. सुधांशु, सचिव दीपेंद्र चौधरी, विनोद कुमार सुमन और अन्य सैन्य अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
