भारतीय युवा कांग्रेस में एक महत्वपूर्ण नियुक्ति की घोषणा की गई है। कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष की स्वीकृति के बाद सिरमौर जिले के शिवी चौहान को भारतीय युवा कांग्रेस का राष्ट्रीय महासचिव नियुक्त किया गया है। यह नियुक्ति तत्काल प्रभाव से लागू मानी गई है। अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी के महासचिव केसी. वेणुगोपाल द्वारा जारी प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में शिवी चौहान सहित कुल 13 नेताओं को महासचिव पद की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है। ये नियुक्तियां संगठन को और अधिक सशक्त करने तथा युवाओं की भागीदारी को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से की गई हैं। 14 अप्रैल 1985 को आम्बवाला में जन्मे शिवी चौहान वर्ष 2020 से युवा कांग्रेस में राष्ट्रीय सचिव के रूप में सक्रिय हैं। राजनीतिक जीवन की शुरुआत उन्होंने 2003 में यूथ कांग्रेस के ज़रिए की थी।

वे एक बार आम्बवाला-सैनवाला पंचायत से प्रधान भी रह चुके हैं। उल्लेखनीय है कि यह पंचायत अनुसूचित जाति बहुल है, इसके बावजूद शिवी चौहान ने सामान्य वर्ग से होते हुए भी प्रधान पद पर जीत दर्ज की, जो उनके जनसमर्थन और सर्वस्वीकार्य छवि का प्रमाण है। केंद्र में शीर्ष नेतृत्व और कांग्रेस मुख्यालय से भी उनके मधुर संबंध और भरोसेमंद छवि बनी हुई है। इसके अलावा, औद्योगिक क्षेत्र कालाअंब में बेरोजगार युवाओं को रोज़गार दिलवाने में वे लगातार सक्रिय रहते हैं। दिल्ली में किसान आंदोलन के दौरान जब हजारों किसान बेहाल थे, तब शिवी चौहान ने राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर उनकी मदद कर उत्तर भारत में अपनी अलग पहचान बनाई थी। अब उन्हें पार्टी ने यह बड़ी जिम्मेदारी सौंपकर एक बार फिर उनके योगदान पर मुहर लगा दी है।

An important appointment has been announced in the Indian Youth Congress. After the approval of the Congress President, Shivi Chauhan of Sirmaur district has been appointed as the National General Secretary of the Indian Youth Congress. This appointment has been deemed effective with immediate effect. In the press release issued by All India Congress Committee General Secretary KC Venugopal, a total of 13 leaders including Shivi Chauhan have been given the responsibility of the post of General Secretary. These appointments have been made with the aim of further strengthening the organization and promoting youth participation. Born on 14 April 1985 in Ambala, Shivi Chauhan has been active as the National Secretary in the Youth Congress since the year 2020. He started his political career in 2003 through Youth Congress.

He has also been the Pradhan of Ambwala-Sanwala Panchayat once. It is noteworthy that this Panchayat is dominated by Scheduled Castes, despite this, Shivi Chauhan, being from the general category, won the Pradhan post, which is a proof of his public support and universally accepted image. He also has cordial relations and a trustworthy image with the top leadership at the Center and the Congress headquarters. Apart from this, he is constantly active in providing employment to unemployed youth in the industrial area Kala Amb. During the farmers’ movement in Delhi, when thousands of farmers were in distress, Shivi Chauhan made a distinct identity for himself in North India by helping them at the national level. Now the party has once again stamped his contribution by entrusting him with this big responsibility.
