सिरमौर टैक्सी ऑपरेटर यूनियन का प्रतिनिधिमंडल स्थानीय विधायक सुखराम चौधरी से मिला। प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने बताया कि कुछ लोग बाहरी राज्य से वन वे टैक्सी एवं गैर मान्यता प्राप्त ऐप से काम प्राप्त कर रहे हैं। बाहरी राज्यों की टैक्सियों से धंधा चौपट हो रहा है। पांवटा के संस्थानों से मिलने वाले काम पर बाहरी लोगों के कब्जा होने से स्थानीय टैक्सी ऑपरेटरों को परिवार का भरण पोषण व किस्त तक देना कठिन हो रहा है। विधायक ने ऑपरेटरों की मांग को प्रदेश सरकार व विभाग के समक्ष उठाने का आश्वासन दिया है।

सिरमौर टैक्सी यूनियन के प्रधान अनिल वर्मा, गुरजीत सिंह व अशोक कुमार ने बताया कि आईआईएम, डेंटल कॉलेज समेत कई स्थानीय संस्थाओं से मिलने वाले काम पर बाहरी टैक्सी संचालक कब्जा रहे हैं। वन वे टैक्सी और सरकार से गैर मान्यता प्राप्त ऐप से कार्य करने वाले बाहरी टैक्सी संचालक काम का लाभ उठा रहे हैं। इन पर अंकुश लगाया जाना चाहिए। सिरमौर टैक्सी यूनियन के प्रधान अनिल गुप्ता ने बताया कि अपना काम बचाने को संघर्ष कर रहे हैं। बाहरी राज्यों के लोग स्थानीय टैक्सी संचालकों का कार्य प्रभावित कर रहे हैं। टैक्सी ऑपरेटरों को विषम हालातों में परिवार पालना कठिन हो रहा है। पांवटा साहिब में टैक्सी स्टैंड की मांग भी विधायक के समक्ष उठाए गई है।

एसपी सिरमौर को भी ज्ञापन सौंपा

सिरमौर टैक्सी ऑपरेटर यूनियन के प्रधान अनिल गुप्ता ने बताया कि एसपी सिरमौर एनएस नेगी को भी ज्ञापन सौंपा गया है। वन वे टैक्सी और सरकार से गैर मान्यता प्राप्त ऐेप से कार्य करने वाले बाहरी टैक्सी संचालकों पर अंकुश लगाने का आग्रह किया है। बाहरी राज्यों से अगर स्थानीय टैक्सी संचालक सवारियां उठाते हैं तो वहां की टैक्सी यूनियन सदस्य मारपीट करते हैं। जबकि पांवटा साहिब में बाहरी टैक्सियों की गलत तरीके से घुसपैठ हो रही है।

Outside taxi operators working through one way taxis and apps unrecognized by the government are taking advantage of the work. They should be curbed. Sirmaur Taxi Union president Anil Gupta said that they are struggling to save their work. People from outside states are affecting the work of local taxi operators. Taxi operators are finding it difficult to support their families in difficult circumstances. The demand for a taxi stand in Paonta Sahib has also been raised before the MLA.
