मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक में प्रदेश हित से जुड़े कई महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय लिए गए। सबसे पहले, जल शक्ति विभाग में सेवाएं दे रहे 1,386 पात्र जल रक्षकों को बड़ी राहत मिली है। 31 दिसंबर 2024 तक 12 वर्ष या उससे अधिक की सेवा पूरी कर चुके इन जल रक्षकों को अब पंप अटेंडेंट के रूप में नियमित नियुक्ति दी जाएगी। सेब उत्पादकों को राहत देते हुए मंत्रिमंडल ने वर्ष 2025 के लिए बाजार हस्तक्षेप योजना (एमआईएस) के अंतर्गत 12 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम की दर से सेब की खरीद को मंजूरी दी है।

इसके साथ ही बी और सी ग्रेड के किन्नू, माल्टा, संतरा और आम की विभिन्न किस्मों (गलगल, सीडलिंग, कलमी, कच्चा अचारी) को भी 10 से 12 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम की दर से खरीदने का निर्णय लिया गया है। आपदा प्रबंधन को सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में भी अहम निर्णय लिए गए। राजस्व मंत्री जगत सिंह नेगी की अध्यक्षता में बनी मंत्रिमंडलीय उप-समिति की सिफारिशों को मंजूरी देते हुए राज्य में भवनों की संरचनात्मक सुरक्षा का ऑडिट करवाने, भूकंप-रोधी निर्माण को अनिवार्य बनाने और आपदा तंत्र में होमगार्ड, अग्निशमन सेवाओं व एसडीआरएफ को एचपीएसडीएमए के साथ एकीकृत करने का निर्णय लिया गया है। बैठक में देहरा (कांगड़ा) स्थित बनखंडी में विकसित किए जा रहे दुर्गेश-अरण्य प्राणी उद्यान के पहले चरण के तहत 325 पेड़ों के स्थानांतरण को मंजूरी दी गई।

साथ ही देहरा में एक नया क्षेत्रीय परिवहन कार्यालय (आरटीओ) खोलने का निर्णय भी लिया गया है। स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में सुधार लाते हुए मंत्रिमंडल ने प्रदेश के जिला अस्पतालों व चयनित स्वास्थ्य संस्थानों में कीमोथेरेपी की सुविधा के लिए 18 डे केयर सेंटरों को स्तरोन्नत करने का फैसला लिया। वहीं, कुल्लू के तेगुबेहड़ नागरिक अस्पताल में 50 बिस्तरों का क्रिटिकल केयर ब्लॉक और एक जिला एकीकृत जन स्वास्थ्य प्रयोगशाला स्थापित की जाएगी। इसके अतिरिक्त, सोलन, पांवटा, देहरा, रिकांगपिओ, नगरोटा बगवां और हमीरपुर के विभिन्न अस्पतालों में भी क्रिटिकल केयर ब्लॉकों के लिए उपकरणों की आपूर्ति को मंजूरी दी गई है। इसी क्रम में जिला एकीकृत प्रयोगशालाओं के लिए भी जरूरी उपकरण मुहैया करवाए जाएंगे।

Many important decisions related to the interest of the state were taken in the cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. First of all, 1,386 eligible Jal Rakshaks serving in the Jal Shakti Department have got a big relief. These Jal Rakshaks who have completed 12 years or more of service by 31 December 2024 will now be given regular appointment as pump attendants. Giving relief to apple growers, the cabinet has approved the purchase of apples at the rate of Rs 12 per kg under the Market Intervention Scheme (MIS) for the year 2025.

Along with this, it has been decided to buy B and C grade Kinnow, Malta, Orange and various varieties of Mango (Galgal, Seedling, Kalmi, Kachcha Achari) at the rate of Rs 10 to 12 per kg. Important decisions were also taken towards strengthening disaster management. Approving the recommendations of the Cabinet Sub-Committee headed by Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, it has been decided to audit the structural safety of buildings in the state, make earthquake-resistant construction mandatory and integrate Home Guard, Fire Services and SDRF with HPSDMA in the disaster mechanism. In the meeting, the transfer of 325 trees was approved under the first phase of Durgesh-Aranya Zoological Park being developed in Bankhandi, Dehra (Kangra).

Also, a decision has been taken to open a new Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Dehra. Bringing improvement in the health sector, the cabinet decided to upgrade 18 day care centers to provide chemotherapy facilities in district hospitals and selected health institutions of the state. At the same time, a 50-bed critical care block and a district integrated public health laboratory will be established in Tegubehad Civil Hospital, Kullu. Apart from this, supply of equipment for critical care blocks has also been approved in various hospitals of Solan, Paonta, Dehra, Rekongpeo, Nagarota Bagwan and Hamirpur. In the same sequence, necessary equipment will also be provided for district integrated laboratories.
