जिला सिरमौर के शिलाई से संबंध रखने वाले होनहार छात्र यशस्वी नेगी ने अपनी प्रतिभा का परचम पूरे देश में लहराया है। उन्होंने हिमाचल प्रदेश विश्वविद्यालय के यूनिवर्सिटी इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी (UIT) की बी.टेक प्रवेश परीक्षा में राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर चौथा स्थान प्राप्त कर न केवल अपने माता-पिता, बल्कि पूरे हिमाचल को गौरवान्वित किया है। यशस्वी के पिता इंजीनियर बहादुर सिंह नेगी विद्युत विभाग में कनिष्ठ अभियंता के पद पर कार्यरत हैं, जबकि माता कल्पना नेगी एक गृहिणी हैं। परिवार ने हमेशा उनके शैक्षणिक विकास को प्राथमिकता दी और हर कदम पर उनका साथ दिया। यशस्वी ने अपनी स्कूली शिक्षा बाल भारती पब्लिक स्कूल शिलाई से प्रारंभ की।

पढ़ाई के प्रति उनकी गंभीरता और समर्पण उन्हें शुरू से ही अलग बनाते थे। इसके बाद उन्होंने नाहन स्थित कैरियर अकादमी से नॉन-मेडिकल संकाय में 10+2 की शिक्षा पूरी की और प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में भी शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। शिक्षा के साथ-साथ यशस्वी बैडमिंटन जैसे खेलों में भी सक्रिय रहे और कई जिला स्तरीय प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लेकर अपनी बहुआयामी प्रतिभा का परिचय दिया।यशस्वी की यह उपलब्धि शिलाई जैसे दूरस्थ क्षेत्र के युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत बन गई है। उन्होंने यह साबित कर दिखाया है कि सीमित संसाधनों के बावजूद यदि लक्ष्य स्पष्ट हो और प्रयास निरंतर हो, तो राष्ट्रीय मंच पर भी सफलता सुनिश्चित है। उनकी इस उपलब्धि पर स्थानीय पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों, शिक्षकों, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं और नागरिकों ने बधाई दी है। क्षेत्र के प्रबुद्धजनों ने इसे “शिलाई की प्रतिभा की पहचान” बताते हुए युवाओं से इसी प्रकार मेहनत करने का आह्वान किया है।

Yashasvi Negi, a promising student hailing from Shillai of Sirmaur district, has shown his talent across the country. He has made not only his parents but the entire Himachal proud by securing fourth position at the national level in the B.Tech entrance examination of the University Institute of Technology (UIT) of Himachal Pradesh University. Yashasvi’s father Engineer Bahadur Singh Negi is employed as a junior engineer in the Electricity Department, while mother Kalpana Negi is a housewife. The family always gave priority to his educational development and supported him at every step. Yashasvi started his schooling from Bal Bharti Public School, Shillai.

His seriousness and dedication towards studies made him different from the beginning. After this, he completed his 10+2 education in non-medical faculty from Career Academy, Nahan and also performed brilliantly in competitive examinations. Along with education, Yashasvi was also active in sports like badminton and displayed his multi-faceted talent by participating in many district level competitions. This achievement of Yashasvi has become a source of inspiration for the youth of remote areas like Shillai. He has proved that despite limited resources, if the goal is clear and efforts are continuous, then success is assured even on the national stage. Local Panchayat representatives, teachers, social workers and citizens have congratulated him on this achievement. The intellectuals of the area have called it “recognition of talent of Shillai” and have called upon the youth to work hard in the same way.
