हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने राज्य के इतिहास में पहली बार एक अनोखी पहल करते हुए लगातार चार दिन तक कैबिनेट बैठकें आयोजित करने का फैसला लिया है। मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू की अध्यक्षता में यह बैठकें 28 जुलाई से 31 जुलाई तक हिमाचल सचिवालय के शिखर सम्मेलन हॉल में दोपहर 12 बजे से 2 बजे तक होंगी।सरकार की ओर से इस संबंध में अधिसूचना जारी कर दी गई है और सभी विभागों के सचिवों और अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया गया है कि वे संबंधित मामलों पर पूरी तैयारी के साथ उपस्थित रहें। आपदा राहत पैकेज पर नजरेंमानसून के दौरान राज्य के विभिन्न हिस्सों में आई प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से प्रभावित लोगों के लिए राहत पैकेज पर बड़ा फैसला लिया जा सकता है।

माना जा रहा है कि कैबिनेट इस दिशा में कोई ठोस नीति या वित्तीय सहायता की घोषणा कर सकती है, जिससे हजारों परिवारों को वास्तविक मदद मिल सके। कैबिनेट बैठकों के दौरान सरकार द्वारा बजट में की गई घोषणाओं को लागू करने की रणनीति, विभिन्न विभागों में नई भर्तियों पर निर्णय, विकास कार्यों की प्रगति की समीक्षा और आगामी मानसून से निपटने की तैयारियों पर भी विस्तार से चर्चा होगी। चार दिन तक लगातार चलने वाली कैबिनेट की बैठकों को लेकर सचिवालय में भी चर्चाओं का माहौल गर्म है। पहली बार ऐसा हो रहा है जब इतने लंबे अंतराल के लिए कैबिनेट बैठकें पूर्व निर्धारित कार्यक्रम के तहत आयोजित की जा रही हैं। सरकार के इस निर्णय को प्रशासनिक सक्रियता और आपदा पीड़ितों के प्रति संवेदनशील दृष्टिकोण के रूप में देखा जा रहा है।

The atmosphere of discussions is also heated in the secretariat regarding the cabinet meetings going on continuously for four days. This is happening for the first time that cabinet meetings are being held under a pre-determined program for such a long interval.
