नेताओं का नहीं, लोकतंत्र का अपमान है काले झंडे दिखाना: प्रदीप चौहान

कांग्रेस नेता प्रदीप चौहान ने मंत्री जगत सिंह नेगी को मंडी दौरे के दौरान काले झंडे दिखाने की घटना को दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण और लोकतंत्र विरोधी बताया है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सिर्फ एक मंत्री का नहीं, बल्कि लोकतांत्रिक मर्यादाओं और हिमाचली संस्कृति का अपमान है। प्रदीप चौहान ने कहा कि मंत्री नेगी जनसमस्याओं को सुनने मंडी आए थे, लेकिन कुछ असामाजिक तत्वों ने उनके साथ बदसलूकी की, यहां तक कि जूते फेंकने का भी प्रयास किया गया। उन्होंने पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री जयराम ठाकुर के समर्थकों पर माहौल को भड़काने का आरोप लगाया।

कॉलेज निर्माण के मुद्दे पर उठे विवाद को लेकर चौहान ने सफाई दी कि मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू स्वयं इस मुद्दे पर संवेदनशील हैं और जनता की मांग को गंभीरता से लिया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस विषय पर राजनीति करना और जनता को गुमराह करना राज्य के हित में नहीं है। प्रदीप चौहान ने कहा कि हिमाचल को ‘देवभूमि’ कहा जाता है, जहां सम्मान और शांति की परंपरा रही है। लेकिन हालिया घटनाएं इस संस्कृति को ठेस पहुँचा रही हैं। उन्होंने जनता से अपील की कि वे ऐसे तत्वों का सामाजिक और राजनीतिक रूप से विरोध करें। अंत में उन्होंने कहा कि चाहे मंत्री किसी भी दल का हो, जनता को उसका सम्मान करना चाहिए क्योंकि वह जनता की सेवा के लिए ही कार्यरत होता है। लोकतंत्र की रक्षा केवल मतदान से नहीं, मर्यादा बनाए रखने से भी होती है।

He said that doing politics on this issue and misleading the public is not in the interest of the state. Pradeep Chauhan said that Himachal is called ‘Devbhoomi’, where there has been a tradition of respect and peace. But recent incidents are hurting this culture. He appealed to the public to oppose such elements socially and politically. In the end, he said that no matter which party the minister belongs to, the public should respect him because he works only for the service of the public. Democracy is protected not only by voting but also by maintaining decorum.
