गिरिपार के डॉ.नवीन ठाकुर (ठुंडू) बने CAPF में असिस्टेंट कमांडेंट, क्षेत्र में खुशी की लहर…

गिरिपार क्षेत्र के छोटे से गांव चम्या,पोस्ट ऑफिस पाब मानल, तहसील शिलाई के होनहार बेटे डॉ. नवीन ठाकुर (ठूंडू) ने असिस्टेंट कमांडेंट (CAPF) के पद पर चयनित होकर पूरे इलाके का सिर गर्व से ऊँचा कर दिया है। वे अब CAPF में मेडिकल ऑफिसर के रूप में देश की सेवा करेंगे। इस सफलता के बाद पूरे गिरिपार में हर्ष की लहर है। गांव से लेकर शिलाई तक बधाइयों का तांता लगा हुआ है।
डॉ. नवीन न सिर्फ एक मेधावी छात्र रहे हैं, बल्कि एक कुशल खिलाड़ी भी हैं। उन्हें ब्लैक बेल्ट प्राप्त है और वे ऑल इंडिया गोल्ड मेडलिस्ट रह चुके हैं। शिक्षा के साथ-साथ खेल में उनका यह समर्पण उनकी बहुआयामी प्रतिभा को दर्शाता है।

डॉ. नवीन की प्रारंभिक शिक्षा गांव के समीपवर्ती टिम्बी में हुई, जहां उन्होंने दसवीं कक्षा तक पढ़ाई की। इसके बाद उन्होंने जमा दो की शिक्षा नाहन के प्रतिष्ठित शमशेर सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल से प्राप्त की। शिक्षा के प्रति उनकी लगन उन्हें नौणी यूनिवर्सिटी तक ले गई, जहां से उन्होंने B.Sc. की पढ़ाई शुरू की। पढ़ाई के दौरान ही उनका चयन मेडिकल कॉलेज चम्बा में हो गया, जहां से उन्होंने MBBS की डिग्री हासिल की। नवीन की मेहनत और समर्पण ने उन्हें मार्च 2025 में केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बल (Central Armed Police Forces – CAPF) में मेडिकल ऑफिसर (Assistant Commandant) के पद पर पहुंचाया। इस पद पर चयन देश की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और आपदा प्रबंधन जैसे अहम क्षेत्रों में सेवा का अवसर देता है, जो न सिर्फ व्यक्तिगत उपलब्धि है, बल्कि पूरे समुदाय के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत भी है।

डॉ. नवीन के परिवार की बात करें तो उनके पिता एक किसान हैं, जो अपने मेहनत से परिवार का पालन-पोषण करते आए हैं। उनकी माता एक आंगनवाड़ी वर्कर हैं, जो बच्चों और महिलाओं की देखभाल में वर्षों से सेवाएं दे रही हैं। वहीं, उनका भाई भारतीय सेना में कार्यरत है और देशसेवा में समर्पित हैं। गांववासियों और आसपास के क्षेत्र के लोगों ने डॉ. नवीन की इस सफलता पर गर्व जताया है। युवाओं के लिए वह प्रेरणा बनकर उभरे हैं, जिन्होंने सीमित संसाधनों के बावजूद कड़ी मेहनत और लक्ष्य के प्रति समर्पण से यह मुकाम हासिल किया। डॉ. नवीन की सफलता यह दर्शाती है कि समर्पण, अनुशासन और निरंतर प्रयास से किसी भी ऊंचाई को छुआ जा सकता है। उनका सफर न केवल गिरिपार बल्कि पूरे सिरमौर जिला के युवाओं के लिए एक मिसाल है।

Dr. Naveen Thakur (Thundu), the promising son of Chamya, a small village in Giripar region, Post Office Paab Manal, Tehsil Shillai, has made the entire area proud by being selected for the post of Assistant Commandant (CAPF). He will now serve the country as a Medical Officer in CAPF. After this success, there is a wave of joy in the entire Giripar. There is a flood of congratulations from the village to Shillai.

Dr. Naveen has not only been a brilliant student, but also a skilled player. He has a black belt and has been an All India Gold Medalist. His dedication to sports along with education shows his multifaceted talent.

Dr. Naveen received his early education in Timbi, near the village, where he studied till class 10th. After this, he received his 12th education from the prestigious Shamsher Senior Secondary School of Nahan. His passion for education took him to Nauni University, from where he completed his B.Sc. During his studies, he was selected in Medical College Chamba, from where he obtained an MBBS degree. Naveen’s hard work and dedication led him to the post of Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) in March 2025. Selection to this post gives an opportunity to serve in important areas like the country’s security system and disaster management, which is not only a personal achievement but also an inspiration for the entire community.

Talking about Dr. Naveen’s family, his father is a farmer, who has been raising the family with his hard work. His mother is an Anganwadi worker, who has been serving for years in the care of children and women. At the same time, his brother is employed in the Indian Army and is dedicated to serving the country. The villagers and the people of the surrounding area have expressed pride in Dr. Naveen’s success. He has emerged as an inspiration for the youth, who achieved this position with hard work and dedication towards the goal despite limited resources. Dr. Naveen’s success shows that with dedication, discipline and continuous effort, one can reach any height. His journey is an example for the youth of not only Giripar but the entire Sirmaur district.
