हाल ही में जिलाधिकारी की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक के दौरान स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानियों के उत्तराधिकारियों ने स्मार्ट सिटी और रोडवेज बसों में निःशुल्क यात्रा की मांग रखी। इस पर संवेदनशीलता दिखाते हुए डीएम बंसल ने बैठक के दौरान ही आदेश जारी करते हुए स्मार्ट सिटी की बसों में फ्री यात्रा की सुविधा प्रदान कर दी।

इतना ही नहीं, रोडवेज बसों में निःशुल्क यात्रा की सुविधा के लिए भी जीएम रोडवेज से पत्राचार का आश्वासन दिया गया है। इस फैसले से स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानियों के परिवारों में खुशी की लहर है और उन्होंने डीएम के इस सराहनीय निर्णय के लिए उनका आभार व्यक्त किया है।
