डॉ. वाईएस परमार राजकीय स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय नाहन की आंतरिक गुणवत्ता आश्वासन प्रकोष्ठ (आईक्यूएसी) ने बीएससी प्रथम वर्ष के नवप्रवेशित विद्यार्थियों के लिए प्रभावशाली इंडक्शन कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। इसमें बीएससी, जीव विज्ञान व भौतिक विज्ञान संकाय के 130 विद्यार्थी मौजूद रहे। इस कार्यक्रम का समुचित समन्वयन प्रो. रीना चौहान एवं उनकी आईक्यूएसी टीम ने किया। प्राचार्य डॉ. विभव कुमार शुक्ला ने जापान की शिक्षा प्रणाली का उदाहरण देते हुए विद्यार्थियों को वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण अपनाने, अनुशासित रहने एवं जीवन में लक्ष्य निर्धारित कर उन्हें प्राप्त करने की प्रेरणा दी। साथ ही मोबाइल फोन के दुरुपयोग से होने वाले दुष्प्रभावों को भी रेखांकित किया। डॉ. जाहिद अली मलिक ने महाविद्यालय के वातावरण का विस्तृत परिचय दिया।

उन्होंने अनुशासन, रैगिंग विरोधी दिशा-निर्देशों एवं बीएससी पाठ्यक्रम में लागू च्वाइस बेस्ड क्रेडिट सिस्टम की उपयोगिता को रेखांकित किया। साथ ही यह भी बताया कि विज्ञान विषयों के अतिरिक्त अंग्रेज़ी, हिंदी एवं पर्यावरण अध्ययन जैसे अनिवार्य विषयों का अध्ययन भी आवश्यक है। डॉ. मलिक ने महाविद्यालय की विभिन्न छात्र इकाइयों एवं क्लबों की भी जानकारी दी और विभिन्न छात्रवृत्तियों के बारे में भी बताया। कार्यक्रम का समापन प्रो. धनमंती कंडासी की ओर से प्रस्तुत औपचारिक धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव के साथ हुआ, जिसमें उन्होंने प्राचार्य एवं सभी शिक्षकों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया। इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय के आईक्यूएसी समन्वयक प्रो. रीना चौहान, सहायक समन्वयक प्रो. कमल डोगरा, डॉ. जगदीश, प्रो. रजत, प्रो. पंकज चांडक, प्रो. ट्विंकल, सहित विज्ञान विभाग से प्रो. ऋचा, डॉ. विनीत, डॉ. अनुप, डॉ. प्रवेश, प्रो. भूमिका, प्रो. अनीता, प्रो. अभिलाषा, डॉ. पंकज व प्रो. नवदीप शाह उपस्थित रहे।

Induction program was organized for the newly admitted students of BSc first year at Dr. YS Parmar Government Post Graduate College, Nahan

Dr. YS Parmar Government Post Graduate College Nahan’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized an impressive induction program for the newly admitted students of BSc first year. 130 students of BSc, Biology and Physics faculties were present in it. This program was properly coordinated by Prof. Reena Chauhan and her IQAC team. Principal Dr. Vibhav Kumar Shukla, citing the example of Japan’s education system, inspired the students to adopt a scientific approach, stay disciplined and set goals in life and achieve them. He also underlined the ill effects of misuse of mobile phones. Dr. Zahid Ali Malik gave a detailed introduction of the college environment.

He underlined the importance of discipline, anti-ragging guidelines and the usefulness of the choice-based credit system implemented in the BSc course. He also said that in addition to science subjects, it is also necessary to study compulsory subjects like English, Hindi and Environmental Studies. The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks presented by Prof. Dhanmanti Kandasi, in which he expressed his gratitude to the Principal and all the teachers. On this occasion, the college’s IQAC coordinator Prof. Reena Chauhan, assistant coordinator Prof. Kamal Dogra, Dr. Jagdish, Prof. Rajat, Prof. Pankaj Chandak, Prof. Twinkle, and from the science department Prof. Richa, Dr. Vineet, Dr. Anup, Dr. Pravesh, Prof. Bhumika, Prof. Anita, Prof. Abhilasha, Dr. Pankaj and Prof. Navdeep Shah were present.
