ऊधमसिंहनगर— चुनावी माहौल में ऊधमसिंहनगर पुलिस ने एक बड़े आपराधिक षड्यंत्र का पर्दाफाश करते हुए दो शातिर अपराधियों को गिरफ्तार किया है, जबकि एक फरार चल रहा है। पुलिस के अनुसार, यह हत्या एक विशेष प्रत्याशी को चुनावी लाभ पहुंचाने के उद्देश्य से की गई थी।
गिरफ्तार आरोपियों में सुखविंदर सिंह शामिल है, जबकि उसका साथी सतनाम फरार है। दोनों के विरुद्ध उत्तराखंड और उत्तर प्रदेश के विभिन्न थानों में हत्या, लूट, डकैती, गैंगस्टर एक्ट और आर्म्स एक्ट सहित कुल 25 गंभीर आपराधिक मुकदमे दर्ज हैं।
पुलिस अधीक्षक ने बताया कि इस मामले में राजनीतिक एंगल की भी गहराई से जांच की जा रही है। फरार अभियुक्त की तलाश के लिए विशेष टीम गठित कर दी गई है और जल्द ही उसे भी गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा।
