शादी के एक माह बाद गढ़वाल राइफल्स के जवान लोकेंद्र की मौत, नई दुल्हन पर टूटा दुखों का पहाड़

पौड़ी गढ़वाल – गढ़वाल राइफल्स में तैनात 26 वर्षीय सैनिक लोकेंद्र प्रताप की अचानक दिल का दौरा पड़ने से मौत हो गई। महज एक माह पहले विवाह के बंधन में बंधे लोकेंद्र की इस आकस्मिक मृत्यु से गांव कटाखोली में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई है। जिस घर में हाल ही में विवाह की खुशियाँ गूंजी थीं, वहां अब मातम पसरा है।

श्रीनगर (पौड़ी) के गांव कटाखोली निवासी लोकेंद्र प्रताप, पुत्र श्री भगत सिंह, आठ वर्ष पहले सेना में भर्ती हुए थे और हाल ही में उनकी पोस्टिंग कौड़िया स्थित गब्बर सिंह कैंप में ट्रेनिंग के लिए हुई थी।

परिजनों के अनुसार, लोकेंद्र ने रात करीब 11:30 बजे घर पर फोन कर परिजनों से बातचीत की और फिर सोने चले गए। अगली सुबह जब साथी जवानों ने उन्हें जगाने की कोशिश की, तो वे अचेत मिले। सेना की मेडिकल टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर जांच की, लेकिन तब तक बहुत देर हो चुकी थी—डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया। प्रारंभिक जांच में हृदय गति रुकने को मौत का कारण माना जा रहा है।

लोकेंद्र की शादी 8 जून को पूरे रीति-रिवाज और धूमधाम से संपन्न हुई थी। परिवार में नई बहू के स्वागत की तैयारियाँ चल रही थीं, लेकिन नियति ने उन्हें ऐसा झटका दिया जिसकी भरपाई संभव नहीं। पत्नी, माता-पिता और अन्य परिजनों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है।

गांव कटाखोली और आस-पास के क्षेत्र में गहरा शोक छाया हुआ है। ग्रामीणों और सेना के अधिकारियों ने लोकेंद्र को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हुए उनके परिवार के प्रति गहरी संवेदना व्यक्त की है।
