नैनीताल:पर्यटन स्थल ढोकाने वॉटर फॉल में रविवार शाम एक दर्दनाक हादसा हो गया। दिल्ली से घूमने आए 44 वर्षीय अजय आर्य, निवासी सिवाली चौबटिया (रानीखेत), की नहाते समय गहरे पानी में डूबने से मौत हो गई।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, अजय आर्य अपने एक साथी के साथ दिल्ली नंबर की कार में ढोकाने वॉटर फॉल पहुंचे थे। नहाने के दौरान अजय अचानक पानी की गहराई में चला गया और बाहर नहीं निकल पाया। साथी ने जब उसे डूबते देखा, तो शोर मचाया और स्थानीय लोगों को बुलाया।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही SDRF और स्थानीय पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। काफी मशक्कत के बाद गोताखोरों की मदद से शव को पानी से बाहर निकाला गया और पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा गया।
घटनास्थल पर मौजूद लोगों के अनुसार, यह इलाका पहले भी कई हादसों का गवाह बन चुका है, लेकिन सुरक्षा के पर्याप्त इंतजाम अब तक नहीं किए गए हैं।
