रोहडू विधानसभा क्षेत्र की होनहार बेटी दीक्षिता चौहान ने एक बार फिर अपनी मेहनत और प्रतिभा के बल पर प्रदेश और देश का नाम रोशन किया है। छत्तीसगढ़ में आयोजित सीनियर नेशनल किकबॉक्सिंग चैंपियनशिप-2025 में दीक्षिता ने दमदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए गोल्ड मेडल अपने नाम किया। इस प्रतिष्ठित प्रतियोगिता में देशभर से लगभग 500 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया था। फाइनल मुकाबले में मेजबान राज्य छत्तीसगढ़ की खिलाड़ी को 0-3 से पराजित कर दीक्षिता ने स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर हिमाचल का गौरव बढ़ाया। दीक्षिता को खेलों के प्रति लगाव बचपन से ही था। 2014 में उन्होंने बॉक्सिंग की दुनिया में कदम रखा और धीरे-धीरे 2019 से किकबॉक्सिंग में विशेष प्रशिक्षण लेना शुरू किया। वर्ष 2021 में उनके पिता केशव राम चौहान का दिल का दौरा पड़ने से निधन हो गया, जो दीक्षिता के जीवन का सबसे बड़ा भावनात्मक झटका था।

उस समय वे तीन बहनों में सबसे बड़ी थीं और परिवार की ज़िम्मेदारी भी उनके कंधों पर आ गई थी। लेकिन दीक्षिता ने हार नहीं मानी, बल्कि और अधिक दृढ़ता से अपने सपने को आगे बढ़ाना शुरू किया। उनकी मां ने हर कदम पर उनका साथ दिया और हौसला बनाए रखा। दीक्षिता की उपलब्धियां सिर्फ राष्ट्रीय स्तर तक सीमित नहीं रहीं। 2025 में दिल्ली में आयोजित अंतरराष्ट्रीय किकबॉक्सिंग चैंपियनशिप में भी उन्होंने गोल्ड मेडल अपने नाम किया था। इसके अलावा इसी वर्ष आयोजित वर्ल्ड कप में उन्होंने सिल्वर मेडल जीतकर अपनी प्रतिभा का परचम लहराया। इतना ही नहीं, दीक्षिता ‘खेलो इंडिया’ जैसी प्रतिष्ठित राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता में भी गोल्ड मेडल जीत चुकी हैं। अब दीक्षिता की नजरें अबू धाबी में आयोजित होने वाली इंटरनेशनल वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप-2025 पर टिकी हैं, जहां वे भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगी। उनका स्पष्ट लक्ष्य है “एक बार फिर गोल्ड मेडल जीतकर देश का नाम अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंच पर बुलंद करना।

Dikshita Chauhan, the promising daughter of Rohru assembly constituency, has once again brought laurels to the state and the country on the strength of her hard work and talent. Dikshita performed brilliantly and won the gold medal in the Senior National Kickboxing Championship-2025 held in Chhattisgarh. About 500 participants from all over the country participated in this prestigious competition. In the final match, Dikshita won the gold medal by defeating the player from the host state Chhattisgarh 0-3 and brought pride to Himachal. Dikshita had a passion for sports since childhood. In 2014, she entered the world of boxing and gradually started taking special training in kickboxing from 2019. In the year 2021, her father Keshav Ram Chauhan died of a heart attack, which was the biggest emotional shock of Dikshita’s life.

At that time, she was the eldest of three sisters and the responsibility of the family also fell on her shoulders. But Dikshita did not give up, but started pursuing her dream with more determination. Her mother supported her at every step and kept encouraging her. Dikshita’s achievements were not limited to the national level only. She also won the gold medal in the International Kickboxing Championship held in Delhi in 2025. Apart from this, she waved the flag of her talent by winning the silver medal in the World Cup held this year. Not only this, Dikshita has also won the gold medal in prestigious national competitions like ‘Khelo India’. Now Dikshita’s eyes are set on the International World Championship-2025 to be held in Abu Dhabi, where she will represent India. Her clear goal is “to once again win the gold medal and raise the country’s name on the international stage.
