देहरादून में छिपा था सोलन का वांछित आरोपी, पुलिस ने किया गिरफ्तार , लंबे समय से था फरार

सोलन :जिला पुलिस द्वारा भगोड़े अपराधियों की धरपकड़ के लिए चलाए जा रहे विशेष अभियान के तहत एक बड़ी सफलता हाथ लगी है। कंडाघाट पुलिस थाना द्वारा गठित टीम ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर 2012 की बीएसएनएल तार चोरी के मामले में नामजद भगोड़े आरोपी गणेश सहानी को उत्तराखंड की राजधानी देहरादून से गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।

गिरफ्तार आरोपी की पहचान गणेश सहानी पुत्र सुवाई सहानी (उम्र 36 वर्ष), निवासी गांव डीही, डाकघर भैरों, तहसील लहरिया सराय, जिला दरभंगा, बिहार के रूप में हुई है। आरोपी के विरुद्ध पुलिस थाना कंडाघाट में एफआईआर नंबर 83/2025 दिनांक 20-07-2025 धारा 174ए आईपीसी के अंतर्गत मामला दर्ज किया गया है।

जांच के दौरान यह सामने आया कि वर्ष 2012 में गणेश सहानी ने अपने एक साथी धर्मेंद्र कुमार के साथ मिलकर कंडाघाट क्षेत्र में BSNL की 50 मीटर टेलीफोन तारों की चोरी की थी। इस घटना को लेकर एफआईआर नंबर 68/12 दिनांक 14-08-2012 धारा 379, 34 भादंसं के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया था। दोनों आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायालय से ज़मानत पर रिहा कर दिया गया था।

ट्रायल के दौरान गणेश सहानी बार-बार न्यायालय में हाजिर नहीं हो रहा था। कई बार समन और वारंट जारी होने के बावजूद उसने पेशी से बचने का प्रयास किया। अंततः 28 अगस्त 2017 को माननीय न्यायालय द्वारा उसे उद्घोषित अपराधी घोषित कर दिया गया था।

पुलिस को गणेश सहानी की लंबे समय से तलाश थी, लेकिन वह लगातार अपने ठिकाने बदलकर गिरफ्तारी से बचता रहा। अंततः पुलिस टीम ने उसे देहरादून से गिरफ्तार कर लिया। आरोपी को आज 20 जुलाई 2025 को माननीय न्यायालय में पेश किया जा रहा है। मामले की जांच अभी भी जारी है।

A case was registered under FIR No. 68/12 dated 14-08-2012 Section 379, 34 Bhadansam regarding this incident. Both the accused were arrested and released on bail from the court. Ganesh Sahani was repeatedly not appearing in the court during the trial. Despite the issuance of summons and warrants several timesTried to escape. He was eventually declared an announced criminal by the Hon’ble Court on 28 August 2017. The police had been looking for Ganesh Sahani for a long time, but he continued to avoid arrest by changing his hideouts. The police team eventually arrested him from Dehradun. The accused is being produced in the Hon’ble Court on 20 July 2025 today. The investigation of the case is still going on.
