देहरादून। सावन के पवित्र माह में जारी कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान शुक्रवार को एक बड़ा हादसा उस समय हो गया जब हरियाणा और पंजाब से आए कांवड़ियों को लेकर जा रहा एक ट्रक ऋषिकेश राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर अचानक पलट गया। हादसा रानीपोखरी क्षेत्र में काली माता मंदिर के समीप नटराज चौक की ओर बढ़ते समय हुआ।

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही कोतवाली ऋषिकेश और थाना रानीपोखरी की पुलिस टीमें मौके पर पहुंचीं और राहत एवं बचाव कार्य शुरू किया। स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से घायलों को तुरंत 108 एंबुलेंस और अन्य साधनों द्वारा एम्स ऋषिकेश पहुंचाया गया, जहां उनका इलाज जारी है। पुलिस के अनुसार, हादसे में दर्जनों यात्री घायल हुए हैं, जिनमें से कुछ की हालत गंभीर है और उन पर डॉक्टरों की विशेष निगरानी रखी जा रही है।

प्रारंभिक जांच में यह सामने आया है कि ट्रक चालक का नियंत्रण अचानक बिगड़ गया था, जिससे यह दुर्घटना घटी। पुलिस यह भी जांच कर रही है कि कहीं वाहन में क्षमता से अधिक यात्री तो नहीं थे या कोई तकनीकी खराबी तो हादसे की वजह नहीं बनी।

हर वर्ष बढ़ती कांवड़ यात्रा की भीड़ और उससे जुड़े यातायात दबाव ने प्रशासन के समक्ष बड़ी चुनौती खड़ी कर दी है। इस हादसे ने यात्रा की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर सवालिया निशान लगा दिए हैं। पुलिस ने स्पष्ट किया है कि आगे इस प्रकार की घटनाओं से बचाव के लिए हाईवे पर अतिरिक्त सुरक्षा बल तैनात किए जाएंगे और वाहनों की सख्ती से चेकिंग की जाएगी।

प्रशासन ने सभी श्रद्धालुओं से अपील की है कि वे यात्रा के दौरान सुरक्षा निर्देशों का पालन करें और ओवरलोड वाहनों से बचें। हादसे के बाद क्षेत्र में कुछ समय के लिए अफरा-तफरी का माहौल रहा, लेकिन समय रहते राहत कार्य शुरू हो जाने से बड़ी अनहोनी टल गई।

प्रशासन ने घायलों के परिजनों से संपर्क स्थापित कर उन्हें हर संभव सहायता का आश्वासन दिया है। सावन की भीड़भाड़ और बढ़ते हादसों को देखते हुए प्रशासन आने वाले दिनों में यात्रा मार्गों पर निगरानी और कड़ी करने जा रहा है।
