हिमाचल प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने नाहन विधानसभा क्षेत्र के बनकला-रखनी सड़क मार्ग से जुड़े एक महत्वपूर्ण मामले में फैसला सुनाते हुए उस सड़क को तत्काल बहाल करने के आदेश दिए हैं, जिसे कुछ भू-स्वामियों ने मिट्टी डालकर बंद कर दिया था। कोर्ट ने स्पष्ट किया है कि संबंधित भू-मालिक कम से कम 10 फुट चौड़ा रास्ता लोगों की आवाजाही के लिए खोलें। यह आदेश ऋषि पाल अन्य बनाम लोक निर्माण विभाग केस की सुनवाई के दौरान आया। हाई कोर्ट ने यह भी कहा कि यदि भू-स्वामी आदेशों की पालना नहीं करते, तो इसे कोर्ट की अवमानना माना जाएगा। ज्ञात हो कि कुछ समय पहले भू-मालिकों ने यह सड़क बंद कर उस पर धान की बुआई कर दी थी, जबकि इससे पहले एसडीएम कोर्ट द्वारा सड़क खोलने के आदेश दिए जा चुके थे। बावजूद इसके, सड़क को फिर से बंद कर दिया गया था। अब हाई कोर्ट के स्पष्ट निर्देशों के बाद क्षेत्र में खुशी और राहत का माहौल है। स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने कोर्ट के आदेशों का स्वागत करते हुए इसे जनहित में एक ऐतिहासिक निर्णय बताया।

The Himachal Pradesh High Court, while giving its verdict in an important case related to the Bankala-Rakhni road of Nahan assembly constituency, has ordered the immediate restoration of the road, which was closed by some landowners by putting soil. The court has clarified that the concerned landowners should open at least 10 feet wide path for the movement of people. This order came during the hearing of Rishi Pal and others vs Public Works Department case. The High Court also said that if the landowners do not follow the orders, it will be considered contempt of court. It is known that some time ago the landowners had closed this road and sowed paddy on it, whereas earlier orders to open the road had been given by the SDM Court. Despite this, the road was closed again. Now after the clear instructions of the High Court, there is an atmosphere of happiness and relief in the area. Local villagers welcomed the orders of the court and called it a historic decision in public interest.
