सिरमौर की धरती से एक और बेटी ने इतिहास रच दिया है। गिरिपार क्षेत्र के लाधी गांव की श्यामा छींटा ने अपनी मेहनत, लगन और समर्पण के दम पर राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर कबड्डी कोचिंग के क्षेत्र में एक नई पहचान बनाई है। श्यामा ने NTA द्वारा आयोजित कठिन परीक्षा को उत्तीर्ण कर NIS (नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ स्पोर्ट्स) महिला कबड्डी कोच बनने का गौरव हासिल किया है।श्यामा सिरमौर जिले की दूसरी महिला हैं जो NIS कोच बनी हैं। उनसे पहले 2011 में निर्मला चौहान ने बेंगलुरु से NIS कोर्स कर यह उपलब्धि हासिल की थी। निर्मला के नाम राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर 22 पदक हैं और उन्हें प्रतिष्ठित परशुराम पुरस्कार से भी सम्मानित किया गया है। श्यामा छींटा का सफर भी प्रेरणादायक है। एक साधारण परिवार से ताल्लुक रखने वाली श्यामा ने सिरमौर कबड्डी अकादमी में पांच साल तक कठिन प्रशिक्षण लिया और अपनी खेल प्रतिभा को निखारा।

उन्होंने सीनियर नेशनल वूमेन कबड्डी प्रतियोगिता में गोल्ड मेडल जीता और नेशनल गेम्स में भी स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया। NIS कोच बनने के बाद श्यामा ने अपनी इस उपलब्धि का श्रेय अपने कोच अमित धीमान और पूरन ठाकुर को दिया है, जिन्होंने पांच वर्षों तक उन्हें गहन प्रशिक्षण दिया। इसके अलावा, श्यामा ने सिरमौर कबड्डी एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष कुलदीप राणा और उनकी पूरी टीम के प्रति भी आभार व्यक्त किया है। गौरतलब है कि श्यामा का चयन पहले स्पोर्ट्स कोटे के तहत पुलिस विभाग में हो चुका था, लेकिन उनका सपना था NIS कोच बनने का जिसे उन्होंने पूरा कर दिखाया। उनकी इस उपलब्धि पर माता-पिता, गुरुजन, कोच और समर्थकों ने बधाइयां और शुभकामनाएं दीं। सिरमौर की बेटियां कबड्डी के मैदान में नए कीर्तिमान गढ़ रही हैं, और श्यामा छींटा उस प्रेरणादायक श्रृंखला की नई कड़ी बनकर उभरी हैं।

Another daughter from the land of Sirmaur has created history. Shyama Chhinta of Ladhi village of Giripar region has created a new identity in the field of Kabaddi coaching at the national level on the basis of her hard work, dedication and commitment. Shyama has achieved the distinction of becoming NIS (National Institute of Sports) women Kabaddi coach by passing the tough examination conducted by NTA. Shyama is the second woman from Sirmaur district to become a NIS coach. Before her, in 2011, Nirmala Chauhan had achieved this feat by doing NIS course from Bengaluru. Nirmala has 22 medals at the national level and has also been awarded the prestigious Parshuram Award. Shyama Chhinta’s journey is also inspiring. Shyama, who belongs to a simple family, took hard training for five years at the Sirmaur Kabaddi Academy and honed her sports talent.

She won the gold medal in the Senior National Women Kabaddi Competition and also won the gold medal in the National Games. After becoming the NIS coach, Shyama has given the credit of this achievement to her coaches Amit Dhiman and Puran Thakur, who gave her intensive training for five years. Apart from this, Shyama has also expressed gratitude to Sirmaur Kabaddi Association President Kuldeep Rana and his entire team. It is worth noting that Shyama had earlier been selected in the Police Department under the sports quota, but her dream was to become an NIS coach, which she fulfilled. Her parents, teachers, coaches and supporters congratulated and wished her on this achievement. The daughters of Sirmaur are creating new records in the field of Kabaddi, and Shyama Chhinta has emerged as a new link in that inspirational chain.
