उत्तराखंड की लोक संस्कृति और पर्यावरण प्रेम के प्रतीक पर्व ‘हरेला’ के अवसर पर ऊधमसिंहनगर पुलिस ने एक विस्तृत वृक्षारोपण अभियान चलाकर पर्यावरण संरक्षण का सशक्त संदेश दिया। यह अभियान वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री मणिकांत मिश्रा के निर्देशन में जिले के सभी थानों, चौकियों और पुलिस लाइनों में पूरे उत्साह और समर्पण के साथ सम्पन्न हुआ।

अभियान के तहत हजारों पौधों का रोपण किया गया, जिनमें विशेष रूप से फलदार, छायादार और पर्यावरणीय दृष्टि से उपयोगी प्रजातियों को प्राथमिकता दी गई। पुलिस विभाग के सभी अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों ने मिलकर न केवल पौधे लगाए, बल्कि उनकी निरंतर देखभाल और संरक्षण का संकल्प भी लिया।

यह आयोजन उत्तराखंड की पारंपरिक चेतना और आधुनिक पर्यावरणीय जिम्मेदारी के अद्भुत समन्वय का उदाहरण बना। इस अवसर पर पुलिस द्वारा आम जनता को भी पर्यावरण के प्रति जागरूक किया गया और वृक्षारोपण के लिए प्रेरित किया गया।

On the occasion of ‘Harela’, a festival symbolic of Uttarakhand’s folk culture and love for nature, the Udham Singh Nagar Police launched an extensive tree plantation drive, delivering a strong message of environmental conservation. The campaign was successfully carried out with great enthusiasm and dedication under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Manikant Mishra across all police stations, outposts, and police lines in the district.

Under this initiative, thousands of saplings were planted, with a special focus on fruit-bearing, shady, and environmentally beneficial species. The police officers and staff not only planted trees but also took a pledge to ensure their regular care and protection.

This event emerged as a remarkable example of blending traditional values of Uttarakhand with modern environmental responsibility. On this occasion, the police also worked to raise awareness among the general public about the importance of protecting the environment and encouraged them to take part in plantation efforts.
