चमोली: जनपद चमोली के विकासखंड पोखरी में बहुद्देश्यीय साधन सहकारी समिति लिमिटेड के अंतर्गत संचालित ग्रामीण बचत केंद्र मसौली में करोड़ों रुपये के वित्तीय घोटाले का सनसनीखेज खुलासा हुआ है। वर्ष 2017 से 2023 के बीच इस केंद्र में करीब ₹76,48,559 की भारी वित्तीय अनियमितता और गबन का मामला सामने आया है।

इस गंभीर प्रकरण को पुलिस अधीक्षक सर्वेश पंवार ने व्यक्तिगत रूप से संज्ञान में लिया और त्वरित कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए। उनके निर्देशानुसार पुलिस उपाधीक्षक कर्णप्रयाग अमित सैनी के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष जांच टीम का गठन किया गया, जिसने मामले की परत दर परत जांच कर दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। मामले की विस्तृत जांच अभी भी जारी है।

यह घोटाला तब सामने आया जब 13 जनवरी 2025 को विकासखंड पोखरी के सहायक विकास अधिकारी राजन कुमार ने थाना पोखरी में एक लिखित तहरीर दी। तहरीर में सेवानिवृत्त सचिव मोहनलाल, अंकित, और अमित सिंह नेगी पर सहकारी समिति की निधियों में गबन और वित्तीय अनियमितताओं के गंभीर आरोप लगाए गए।

पुलिस की प्रारंभिक जांच में यह सामने आया है कि उक्त आरोपियों ने योजनाबद्ध तरीके से ग्रामीण बचत केंद्र की राशि में हेराफेरी की। पुलिस की कार्रवाई से न केवल क्षेत्र में हड़कंप मचा है, बल्कि सहकारी संस्थाओं की कार्यप्रणाली पर भी सवाल उठने लगे हैं।

चमोली पुलिस ने आश्वस्त किया है कि इस मामले में किसी भी दोषी को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा और दोषियों के खिलाफ कठोर कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
