प्रदेश सरकार की ओर से गेहूं , मक्की और हल्दी पर न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य शुरू करने से शिमला जिले में किसानों का सशक्तिकरण हो रहा है। जिले में गेहूं, मक्का और हल्दी खरीद पर सरकार ने न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य निर्धारित किया है। राज्य में प्राकृतिक खेती के माध्यम से उगाई मक्की पर देश में सबसे अधिक न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य प्रदान किया जा रहा है। जिससे किसानों को अपनी फसल के उचित मूल्य मिल रहे हैं ।

वित्त वर्ष 2025 – 26 के लिए प्राकृतिक खेती के माध्यम से उगाई गई मकी के लिए न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य ₹30 से बढ़कर ₹40 तथा गेहूं के 40 से बढ़कर 60 रुपए प्रति किलो किया है इसके अतिरिक्त कच्ची हल्दी की खरीद के लिए ₹90 प्रति किलो न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य निर्धारित किया है। शिमला के साथ लगते पाहल पंचायत के किसान रूपचंद शर्मा जी ने कहा हल्दी की प्राकृतिक खेती करते हैं ।प्रदेश सरकार ने हल्दी का एमएसपी 90 रुपए किया है, योजना के तहत उन्होंने कृषि विभाग को एक क्विंटल से अधिक 90 रुपए के हिसाब से हल्दी बची है। इस योजना के लिए प्रदेश भर के किसानों ने सराहा है, अपनी उगाई गई फसल के उचित दाम मिल रहे हैं।

The introduction of minimum support price on wheat, maize and turmeric by the state government is empowering the farmers in Shimla district. The government has fixed the minimum support price on the purchase of wheat, maize and turmeric in the district. The highest minimum support price in the country is being provided on maize grown through natural farming in the state. Due to which farmers are getting fair prices for their crops.

For the financial year 2025 – 26, the minimum support price for maize grown through natural farming has been increased from ₹ 30 to ₹ 40 and wheat from 40 to 60 rupees per kg. Apart from this, a minimum support price of ₹ 90 per kg has been fixed for the purchase of raw turmeric. Roopchand Sharma, a farmer from Pahal Panchayat near Shimla, said that he does natural farming of turmeric. The state government has fixed the MSP of turmeric at Rs 90, under the scheme, he has given more than one quintal of turmeric to the agriculture department at the rate of Rs 90. Farmers across the state have praised this scheme, they are getting fair prices for their grown crops.
