प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट के वरिष्ठ न्यायाधीश तरलोक सिंह चौहान झारखंड हाई कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश होंगे। 9 जनवरी 1964 को जन्में न्यायाधीश चौहान शिमला जिला के रोहडू क्षेत्र से संबंध रखते हैं । विश्व कॉटन स्कूल शिमला से प्रारंभिक शिक्षा पूरी हुई। डी.ए.वी. कॉलेज चंडीगढ़ से ऑनर्स के साथ स्नातक व पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी चंडीगढ़ से कानून की डिग्री प्राप्त करने के बाद वर्ष 1989 में वकील बने। हिमाचल प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट में वकालत शुरू करते हुए कानून की सभी विषयों में अच्छी पकड़ मानी जाती है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट कॉलेजियम की सिफारिश के बाद केंद्र सरकार ने इस बारे में अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। इससे पहले तरलोक सिंह चौहान दो बार हिमाचल प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट के कार्यवाहक न्यायाधीश रह चुके हैं।

Senior Justice of the State High Court, Tarlok Singh Chauhan, will be the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court. Justice Chauhan, born on 9 January 1964, belongs to Rohru area of Shimla district. He completed his primary education from Vishwa Cotton School, Shimla. He became a lawyer in 1989 after graduating with honours from D.A.V. College, Chandigarh and obtaining a law degree from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He is considered to have a good grasp on all subjects of law while starting his law practice in Himachal Pradesh High Court. After the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium, the Central Government has issued a notification in this regard. Earlier, Tarlok Singh Chauhan has been the Acting Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court twice.
