सराज विधानसभा क्षेत्र में युद्ध स्तर पर किया जा रहा पेयजल योजनाओं की बहाली का कार्य: उप-मुख्यमंत्री

उप-मुख्यमंत्री एवं जल शक्ति मंत्री मुकेश अग्निहोत्री ने कहा कि सराज विधानसभा क्षेत्र में हाल ही में आई आपदा के कारण जल शक्ति विभाग की 241 पेयजल योजनाएं क्षतिग्रस्त हुई हैं और इनकी बहाली का कार्य विभाग द्वारा युद्ध स्तर पर किया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि अब तक 150 योजनाओं को आंशिक रूप से बहाल किया गया है जबकि शेष योजनाओं को शीघ्र बहाल करने के लिए विभागीय अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी दिन-रात दुर्गम परिस्थितियों में कड़ी मेहनत कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि योजनाओं की मरम्मत के लिए अनुकूल मौसम के बावजूद दुर्गम से दुर्गम क्षेत्रों में लोगों को स्वच्छ एवं निर्बाध पेयजल सुनिश्चित करवाने के दृष्टिगत कार्य किया जा रहा है। अग्निहोत्री ने कहा कि वह स्वयं राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों तथा क्षतिग्रस्त योजनाओं की बहाली के कार्यों की नियमित समीक्षा कर रहे हैं तथा ऐसी चुनौतीपूर्ण परिस्थितियों में लोगों को पेयजल सहित अन्य आवश्यक सामग्री सुनिश्चित करना प्रदेश सरकार की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है।

Restoration work of drinking water schemes is being done on war footing in Seraj assembly constituency: Deputy Chief Minister

Deputy Chief Minister and Jal Shakti Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that due to the recent disaster in Seraj assembly constituency, 241 drinking water schemes of the Jal Shakti Department have been damaged and the work of their restoration is being done on war footing by the department. He said that so far 150 schemes have been partially restored, while departmental officers and employees are working hard day and night in difficult conditions to restore the remaining schemes soon. He said that despite favorable weather for the repair of schemes, work is being done with a view to ensure clean and uninterrupted drinking water to the people in the most inaccessible areas. Agnihotri said that he himself is regularly reviewing the relief and rescue operations and the work of restoration of damaged schemes and in such challenging circumstances, ensuring drinking water and other essential materials to the people is the top priority of the state government.
