टीबी मुक्त भारत अभियान के अंतर्गत टीबी (क्षय रोग) उन्मूलन की दिशा में जिला सिरमौर में एक सराहनीय कदम उठाया गया है। उपायुक्त सिरमौर प्रियंका वर्मा, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (भा.प्र.से.) ने व्यक्तिगत स्तर पर दो टीबी मरीजों को गोद लेकर उनके लिए निक्षय मित्र बनने की घोषणा की है। यह पहल जिले में टीबी उन्मूलन के प्रयासों को नई गति देने का कार्य करेगी। जिला सिरमौर में वर्तमान में लगभग 650 टीबी रोगी उपचाराधीन हैं, जिन्हें सरकारी स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के माध्यम से निशुल्क जांच, दवा और परामर्श मुहैया कराया जा रहा है। अब निक्षय मित्र योजना के तहत इन रोगियों को पोषण किट, जरूरी दवाइयां, और मानसिक-सामाजिक सहयोग भी उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा है।

उपायुक्त ने जिले के समाजसेवी, उद्योगपति, स्वयंसेवी संस्थाओं और आम नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे भी आगे आएं और निक्षय मित्र बनकर एक सकारात्मक बदलाव में सहभागी बनें। उन्होंने कहा कि यह न केवल मानवता की सेवा है, बल्कि एक राष्ट्र निर्माण का भाग भी है, जिसमें हम एक स्वस्थ भारत की कल्पना को साकार कर सकते हैं। उपायुक्त ने बताया कि निक्षय मित्र बनने के लिए कोई भी व्यक्ति या संस्था “https://communitysupport.nikshay.in” वेबसाइट पर पंजीकरण कर सकती है या फिर निक्षय हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1800-11-6666 अथवा 104 पर संपर्क कर अधिक जानकारी प्राप्त कर सकते है।

Sirmaur district took a commendable step towards TB elimination under TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan….

A commendable step has been taken in Sirmaur district towards TB (Tuberculosis) elimination under TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Priyanka Verma, Indian Administrative Service (IAS) has personally adopted two TB patients and announced to become their Nikshay Mitra. This initiative will give new impetus to the efforts to eradicate TB in the district. Currently, about 650 TB patients are undergoing treatment in Sirmaur district, who are being provided free tests, medicines and consultation through government health services. Now under the Nikshay Mitra Yojana, nutrition kits, essential medicines and psycho-social support are also being provided to these patients.

The Deputy Commissioner has appealed to the social workers, industrialists, voluntary organizations and common citizens of the district to also come forward and participate in a positive change by becoming Nikshay Mitra. He said that this is not only a service to humanity but also a part of nation building, in which we can realize the dream of a healthy India.
