मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविन्द्र सिंह सुक्खू वीरवार को मण्डी जिले के नाचन विधानसभा क्षेत्र में आपदा प्रभावित परिवारों से मिले और उनका मनोबल बढ़ाया। उन्होंने आपदा प्रभावित बागा, स्यांज, पंगल्यूर गांव में हुए नुकसान का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने आपदा में मारे गए व्यक्तियों की आत्मा की शांति के लिए प्रार्थना की और प्रभावितों को राज्य सरकार की ओर से उन्हें हर संभव मदद का आश्वासन दिया। मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रभावितों से उनकी संपत्ति को हुए नुकसान के बारे में भी जानकारी ली। प्रभावितों की बात सुनकर मुख्यमंत्री व्यथित हो गए। रास्ते में अनेक स्थानों पर रुककर मुख्यमंत्री ने लोगों की बात को ध्यान से सुना। उन्होंने कहा कि आपदा बहुत बड़ी है और बहुत ज्यादा नुकसान हुआ है, लेकिन राज्य सरकार हर प्रभावित का पुनर्वास करेगी और उनकी मदद करेगी। नाचन विधानसभा क्षेत्र के बागा में दो व्यक्तियों की मौत हुई है जबकि पंग्लयूर गाँव में नौ लोग बह गए, जिनमें से चार शव बरामद कर लिए गए हैं, जबकि 5 व्यक्ति अभी भी लापता हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी प्रभावित परिवारों को भरोसा दिलाया कि राज्य सरकार उनके दर्द को जानती है और इस दुःखद् समय में उनके साथ खड़ी है। बागा में प्रभावितों ने मुख्यमंत्री को बताया कि पूरा पहाड़ खिसक आया और जान माल का काफी नुकसान हुआ है। उन्होंने प्रभावितों से कहा कि घर, गौशाला, गाय, भेड़ बकरी और गौशाला को हुए नुकसान का पूरा मुआवजा राज्य सरकार देगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को प्रभावितों के लिए रहन-सहन के लिए बेहतर तथा समुचित प्रबंध करने के निर्देश दिए। इस अवसर पर कांग्रेस नेता चेत राम, जगदीश रेड्डी, विजय पाल सिंह, एपीएमसी चेयरमैन संजीव गुलेरिया, जीवन ठाकुर, नरेश चौहान, लाल सिंह कौशल, पवन ठाकुर, उपायुक्त मंडी अपूर्व देवगन तथा एसपी साक्षी वर्मा सहित अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित रहे।

CM Inspects Disaster-Affected Villages Baga, Syanj, and Panglyur in Nachan Constituency

On Thursday, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu visited the disaster-hit Nachan constituency in Mandi district, where he met the affected families and offered them moral support. He inspected the damage caused in the villages of Baga, Syanj, and Panglyur and prayed for the peace of those who lost their lives in the disaster. The CM assured the victims that the state government would provide them with all possible assistance. The Chief Minister also gathered information about the damage to personal properties. Visibly moved after hearing the plight of the victims, he paused at multiple locations en route to listen carefully to the people. He stated that the disaster was massive and had caused significant damage, but the state government is committed to rehabilitating and assisting every affected individual. In Baga village of Nachan, two people lost their lives, while in Panglyur village, nine individuals were swept away. Of these, four bodies have been recovered, while five are still missing. CM Sukhu assured the affected families that the state government understands their pain and stands with them during this difficult time. In Baga, the victims informed him that an entire hill had collapsed, causing significant damage to life and property. He promised compensation for damage to homes, cowsheds, cattle including cows, sheep, and goats. He also directed officials to ensure proper and adequate arrangements for the victims’ shelter and living conditions.
